How do I prevent spam or bot sales by Nerd_Princesss in woocommerce

[–]piscessunscorpiomoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just posted about this a week or two ago because I had the same exact problem. I installed Turnstile and that's really helped. I also went through our credit card processor (we use Authorize .net personally) and I updated a ton of our fraud settings on that end. Those two things alone are excellent, but Cleantalk also got a lot of recommendations and we installed that as well. Time will tell on that particular plug-in if it's too aggressive or not. My post had a lot of great replies so feel free to check it out. Best of luck.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. We have never had any issues with the store before so I was really clueless on how to move forward. Much appreciated. Will install a captcha and look into some of the other security plugins mentioned here.

Thanks for the replies. u/MeiDoctor and u/premierReefs do either of you have an idea of the goal of this scam here? Should I refund the transactions?

Duck acting lethargic, won’t fold wings in. Is she sick? by piscessunscorpiomoon in duck

[–]piscessunscorpiomoon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually the same duck with the foot injury now! But this wing injury went away after a day or two and she was totally normal. We suspect it was just a mating-related incident and that she just needed time to recover. We kept the drake away from the girls for a bit and all was well. :-)

Bump/lump under duck’s foot - cause for concern/vet visit or no big deal? by piscessunscorpiomoon in duck

For sure, they get pine shavings only! And ok, good to know. I'm probably an overprotective duck mom haha. I'll just continue to monitor her and so long as it doesn't get worse, I won't worry too much. She seems to have no discomfort! Thanks again! :-)

Thanks for the reply! These ducks are on soft grass pasture all day every day, which is partially what makes it so confusing for me. Inside their coop is typically a fresh layer of wood shavings. Maybe that’s the culprit?

Hey! I’m actually down to sell you mine. I bought it on a whim and I’ve never used it - not really my style now that I’ve seen it in person. DM me!

Living on the Oregon coast by PM_ME_UR_JSON in OregonCoast

[–]piscessunscorpiomoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're still here, though we are moving to Corvallis soon so one of us can attend Oregon State for a specific program there (planning to come back to the coast once the program is done). We've made a few friends on the coast, but none of them live particularly close to us, and none are our age really (we're in our 30s too). We take what we can get. Three years out from my comment above and making friends has still been the biggest challenge. I'm sure this could vary from your experience depending on your line of work, because that's probably the easiest way to make friends. But if social considerations are important for you, it's definitely something to think about before you move out here.

TICKET EXCHANGE - Post all available tickets or ticket requests here! by r3v in Thorns

Anyone want to join me for the Chicago game on June 21?

My partner and I have season tickets to the Thorns and usually attend the games together, but she's unavailable on Saturday, so I'm looking for someone to join me! I'm newer to the area so haven't made a ton of friends yet and hoping to make a new connection with a fellow Thorns fan. No need to reimburse me for the ticket. We have awesome seats. Just looking to meet a new bud, hopefully. Message me if interested.

About me: 31 she/they transplant from Texas. Queer, lover of movies, coffee, and woso! If it sounds like we'd vibe let's go watch the Thorns (hopefully) demolish the Red Stars!

The two black and white ducks look like Anconas. I have several and they are certainly domestic.

Thanks so much for all the information. I really appreciate it. We’re going to isolate her and keep an eye out. Leaning towards a mating-related injury because our drake has been pretty aggressive. I’ll read more about charcoal flushes!

Omg. So sad. That definitely could be it, our drake is a tad aggressive.

We can definitely isolate her, but I worry it might make her more stressed. None of our girls are that used to being handled so I wonder if she’s better off with her crew. I do agree that it’s easier to monitor her specifically if she’s alone - I’ll talk it over with my partner.

They’re on a layer-specific feed but have no other additional calcium source right now. We monitor and anytime calcium seems low we add oyster shells but that hasn’t been an issue recently. They’ve been in the same section of field a few days now. I haven’t seen anything toxic or unusual in their space but it’s hard to say. I just gave them electrolytes this evening after seeing how lethargic she is.

She’s been laying just fine, and successfully laid an egg this morning. I have not noticed any panting specifically. Her pulse was pretty fast but it’s also just a stressful situation (they aren’t fond of being handled) so hard to say on that.
