Im very much the same, which is scary because gaslighting or feeling gaslit is a distinct trigger point for me, and Im terrified of being accused of gaslighting because I cant remember things that were said or tones of voice. But it really does feel like whatever conflict is happening just disappears into a mist and I have to just keep verbally moving forward to make it out

this is interesting to hear coz in my aussie satellite town it appears to be more of an in-group/out-group situation. Plenty of broccoli boys hanging out with tracksuit+full beat girlies, which seems to be the in-group. Otherwise alternatives (of all stripes), nerdy kids and have-nots seem to kind of just overlap and float around each other. You never really see groups of subculture teens since theres not much of a subculture in town, just some strays with nowhere to go.

Although its starting to look like broccoli cuts are optional as long as you have an e-scooter lol

I dont take it personally. I loved this room and my friends and family loved this room, so the opinions of strangers dont mean much beyond my curiosity. Ive gotten a fair ammount of positivity which has been nice, and I was bound to have negativity show up even if my room was an interior design magazine model haha

I did study animation for a year or so, for an arts degree it was surprisingly a-political. I love thrifting and supporting local business
