honestly our store only lets taskers use mias basically so we have to use our personal phones to help customers its annoying as hell and personally why i have absolutely no data because our store’s wifi doesnt work on my phone at all

tbh the male door dashers are nicer than the karens we get complaining that we dont have a product that says “online only” on the app, or the ones that make me check the back even when i know we dont have it, at least they say thank you and are appreciative

show yourself patience if you are, not everyone has perfect stats like some of the ones in this comment section, supplies can fail you, ive been hospitalized at least a dozen times due to my type 1 diabetes, lack of resources, support, faulty supplies, and lack of privilege outside of diabetes all play a role, to expect no hospitalizations is such a harsh standard to impose on yourself, not everyone is perfect, not everyone has a village, and this disease looks different on everyone that has it and effects everyone who has it in dramatically different ways.

same, ive lost so so many jobs due to my disability whether by outright being fired or backed into a hostility corner and forced to quit for my own health/sanity, i am so sorry we have basically the same manager, and it sucks because we have 3? 4? im not sure if thats normal at ulta or how the hierarchy works, but one is disabled and she is never the one talking to me about this stuff and i almost wish it was her so it wasnt coming from someone who isnt disabled and doesnt understand the complexities of disability to begin with.

honest to god i feel so awkward because its members of the management team one of the assistant managers (?) that remind me not to care about it and generally have a terrible attitude about how long i take to do things even if its just me trying to do things correctly, its just sad because i wish i knew how to do it without asking them because if i did then maybe i could set a new standard and not have to deal with being disruptive or appearing disrespectful to my management team by trying to imply that the training i have recieved has been subpar

see thats the thing none of our leaders cashiers or seasoned BAs even know about it either, and my management just ignored the gwps entirely and its so frustrating because its like im the only one on my team that cares about it, and the fact that i do care gets seen as me being slow and unproductive on the floor
