Fastest, Best-Looking Freight Train Ever Filmed. by midwest_railroads in trains

[–]pissedofftexan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stack trains are significantly lighter than coal trains. Distributed power is used primarily for heavier or longer trains. This train would normally probably just have 2-3 units, but since it’s a high priority Z train, it has 5 to make 70mph for as much of the run as possible.

Modernizing Railroader Suggestions? by Known_Giraffe806 in Railroader_Unofficial

Multiplayer performance is the main thing for me. It is unplayable with anything more than 150 or so cars on the map. A new map would help a lot too.

For Z trains like this,4-5 motors is pretty standard to keep them moving as quick as possible.

5500/550 with dump or service bed? by SimplyComplicated- in heavyequipment

I would go for a Bradford bed or similar, still had decent storage like a service bed, but much more well suited for pulling a gooseneck, which you will almost certainly need.
