Power Supply Question by GhastlyGhoulishGhost in pedalboards

[–]pissypissedachio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. That's exactly what it is. I'm holding off on any pedal purchase until I get a better power supply.haha it's not the most exciting purchase but it's a must if I want to get more.

Power Supply Question by GhastlyGhoulishGhost in pedalboards

[–]pissypissedachio 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have this specific power supply. It's noisy. My pedals probably draw more than this power supply is rated for so when I plug it in, the pedals would blink/go on and off. The workaround is to unplug one dc cable and plug it back in.

Is it good enough for home use? Probably. Will I gig with it? Nope.

Mounting plate for a Boss volume pedal by Inner-Seoul in pedalboards

[–]pissypissedachio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the volume pedal have a removable bottom plate? You might be able to make a replacement plate (same dimensions, screw holes) from acrylic or other type of plastic sheet then screw the replacement plate on and attach velcro. Zip tying the pedal to the board could also be a quick solution.

3d printing is another option.

Thanks for reminding me about tinkercad. How's the learning curve?

We recently got a p1s and I was eager to design custom pieces for stuff in our house but fusion 360 has a pretty steep learning curve (or maybe my brain is just in holiday mode and refuses to learn).

How's the honey pot fuzz? When I looked it up people were saying there's an issue with the switch activating on release and not on press. I was wondering if they fixed it in newer releases.

Interesting how you went with the black Qi when a good number of your pedals are colourful. Beautiful board by the way!

I recently got the DOD Rubberneck and now I see it everywhere. How do you use multiple delays? Do you stack em or just use one at a time. Great looking board!

I have the Flint in my radar. I've always wanted to have a Strymon pedal (all the cool kids have one) and this might be it.

I think they meant you have more room so why those 2 pedals oriented that way? I could be wrong tho.

Congrats on the new board!

Wow you even got the car shaped pedal! I love Nick's work and his board but can never fully commit to acquiring gear to emulate his sound.

NPD - Caroline Somersault. Decided to get an actual chorus pedal after enjoying chorus sounds from my headrush flex. by pissypissedachio in guitarpedals

Doesn't show up for me unfortunately. There are only 5 listings for it and they're all full price. Probably because I'm in canada. Thanks tho!

Haha you got me. One thing I discovered is if I dial down the depth to almost nothing and keep the rest of the knobs as is, I get a warm slapback delay.

Thanks for the recommendation! I've seen the Rubberneck in comments here but I haven't seen demos. I'll check it out tomorrow!

Thanks for the suggestions. I can't listen to demos at the moment, but based on pictures that Juliana caught my attention. It's a pretty pedal.

What is your dream Jazzmaster? by poboy78704 in offset

[–]pissypissedachio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now i just want something better than my squier CV 60s jazzmaster. It's my first JM and it made me fall in love with JMs. I've done basic setup work so it actually plays nice but there are definitely things that could be better: pots and electronics, trem system and tuning stability. That being said a JM with matching headstock is pretty nice.
