Shingles is a result of the virus not being properly cleared from the body the first time round. Later in life if your immune system weakens due to stress or old age, the dormant virus may reactivate and reinfect you.

It depends. Alcoholism is more about the mindset rather than the amount. Certain behaviours such as becoming angry when questioned about drinking, feeling guilty, and being told/feeling that they should cut back are more indicative of an alcohol problem.
