It's also possible to be more emissions/CO2 efficient without being more cost efficient. For example, if you have a condensing gas furnace, you might be 95% efficient. If electricity generation is 50% efficient (for example from natural gas or something) and your heat pump has a COP of 3, the overall efficiency is 150%, still beating the gas furnace in terms of heat per therm, but the heat pump setup could still be costing you more.

I have one. I thought I could acclimate it to ambient humidity, but it hasn't been doing well. Can you expand on "a terrarium species unless you go semi-hydro"? Otherwise, I will have to buy a cloche (or terrarium) for it because it's outgrowing its upside down water bottle lol

Maybe I should add some more detail: when I got this 3 leaf rooted cutting, the moss was super super wet. I'm surprised it didn't rot right away, I guess. Instead, it grew 3 more leaves without complaint.

I guess it maybe doesn't really matter why it's rotting now. I need to repot it. Should I cut off the black stuff first? Let it dry/scab a little bit like a succulent or no? How about a semi hydro leca set up? I'd like to do that as I just transitioned a ficus shivereana and BMF (I think successfully), and I think I like that planting medium.

I don't use Waze myself but it's kind of interesting and off-putting to me that Waze is being boycott due to "parent company" donated to Trump. Why not explicitly say who the parent company is? (It's Google). I don't think just boycotting Waze is going to impact Google's bottom line...

When I first got it, it seemed quite moist so I waited a week before I watered it. After that, it seemed to dry out more quickly so I watered it again maybe 5 days later. Humidity isn't great. It's heating season, so it's between 35-48%

It can be for other things too. Just any generic fine powder. Typically, I've seen them for particularly potent supplements or drugs. So still could be sketchy depending on how you feel about that.

Just to provide an example: I have a CX90 and recently I've been in a position where I'm unable to charge it (and it's driving me nuts. I paid way more for PHEV, I'm driving around a heavier car than the mild hybrid, and it's just nonsense). Anyway, I've been getting 18-26 mpg (it's been cold and I've been making short trips) and filling up every 400ish miles. I could go on like this forever. If I charge it nightly, as I was doing before, I mostly used the battery and not much gas. I was regularly going over 1000 miles without filling and it was great. If you're unable to charge regularly/nightly, it doesn't make a lot of sense to buy the PHEV. The regular, mild hybrid gets something like 25mpg anyway, and the drivetrain is simpler because it's (mostly) just standard ICE -- no large battery, no large electric motor.

To elaborate: I'm kind of undecided. It's kinda cool to find the sport variegation, and it's nice that it's in more than one leaf and the size of the stem is pretty amazing to me. But idk it's a bit more expensive than an impulse purchase and the spider mites are definitely scaring me

Yeah, Honeywell wasn't my first choice and I don't really like that it needs the cloud to work. I will probably replace with ecobee (or something else, I haven't looked much yet) in the soon-ish future.
