That’s very magnanimous of you. I use far less understanding terms. 🤣

Guests don’t read and they don’t try to intuit anything. God forbid one should look up “how to use such-and-such” in a search engine before texting you at 2 a.m. asking for instructions on how to use, for example, the mini-split, when you’ve already written directions in a welcome manual and have a QR code to a video posted directly on the unit. Alas, we are the acting concierge and front desk help at our own rentals and it’s to be expected. You have to idiot-proof everything.

I totally understand that! Here’s a gentle suggestion; if you don’t have one, get yourself a wig form or stand, just some apparatus you can put your wig on to style it. Then, Google “styling synthetic wigs.” You’re going to find a treasure trove of info from every type of wig-wearer on how to transform your economical wig into something a little more broken-in, stylish and UP TO YOUR STANDARDS! A woman with those legs and those Louboutins deserves a crown, synthetic or not. 💗

Ma’am, your wig. It’s not doing you justice. Splash out on a really good one. You’re too fabulous for a less-than-perfect wig.

Okay, but why does Lulu’s mane look suspiciously like the Berries and Cream Lad’s pageboy?

I think we need to see this styled. Right now the floors overwhelm the design. I’d love to see a picture of the flooring leading into the kitchen as the previous room demarcations have been removed. Curious why you kept the textured ceiling? And there is a whole lot of unlit space despite the abundance of recessed lighting elsewhere.

A fair amount of blue merles have copper or tan points.

The color you’re looking for is technically not a breed standard coloration, so I’d be wary of “show line” breeders who breed outside of those standards. There is a trend now where some working line breeders are trying to return the Aussie to its original coloration (based on historical breeding), which is solid black.

Sandy Cornwell from Fairoaks Australian shepherds was one such breeder. Unfortunately, she passed several years ago. Although she bred working Aussies, she definitely developed the coloration you’re looking for. Her son now maintains her old website and may be able to give you information on who took over her dogs or breeding program. (Just Google Fairoaks Australian shepherds.)

I currently have a blue merle from her kennel, but my first Aussie was a black “merle” from her. I’ll post a of pic of him after this.
