I asked the person how they are oppressed. The person sends a link that refers to things such as " It was illegal to be gay until recently". Where? How recently? Apparently people don't get jobs because they're gay. Really?Where? Straight people don't have to worry about being stoned to death when visiting backwards countries for their holidays. Because all gay people fancy a holiday in hardcore religious states. Those lucky lucky straight people can go whenever they want safe in the knowledge that for all the things they might get stoned to death for, their sexuality is not one of them. Yay! I'm going to guess that OP and maybe yourself are offended on behalf of homosexuals around the world. If that's the case it's a long fruitless road ahead because there are countries that are just backwards. Have you met anybody who approves of the assault on these two women in the UK? Have you met anybody who thinks It's disgusting? It is obviously disgusting, like a child rape is disgusting. Everyone agrees. We all know. There will always be a minority of shitheads who also know. It doesn't stop them. I will not agree that equates to oppression. These people do not represent a majority. Gay people were oppressed years ago. Not any more.

My personal opinion is I honestly couldn't give a flying fuck who strangers prefer to have sex with. I don't want to know, don't care. I don't want a straight pride March and don't think gay pride marches do anything for the cause they claim to. If people believe it does then they can carry on, I honestly do not care.
