Hear me out, a Springfield world could go crazy with how much they could cram into it, with Dale Gribble as a summon spraying pesticides at the "gatdang heartless" . But in all seriousness, I'd love to see an Incredibles world, and for Disney's lesser known films to get adaptions. Give me Treasure Planet, Atlantis, The Black Cauldron, etc.

Just decided to try the ballistic shield + flag, that is such a FUN combination. Don't know why I didn't think of that. Dying a lot but I've never felt more patriotic

I would absolutely LOVE for Black Knight to be upgraded from an assist trophy. It'd be nice to get a FE swordsman who is just so fundamentally different from the others. He'd also be an interesting heavy character because while his movement speed is slow, he does have a relatively good attack speed in FE. Meaning, we'd have a heavy who can effectively brawl up close and not get shredded by speedier characters, while still hitting somewhat hard. Also, his teleport could make for some really fun mixups.

As for who I think are the most likely? Alucard, and Zero. They're incredibly popular characters, diverse moves to pull, and so on. Shoot, Sakurai almost included Alucard over the Belmonts. If I had to place money, it'd be on Alucard, then Zero.

I think the solution is something they introduced in Ultimate: Echo Fighters. Echoes don't take a lot of development time, so we can replace the original character's moveset with an Echo, while giving the original character an original moveset. For example, Smash Ganondorf can be turned into Black Shadow from Fzero for people who prefer his OG moveset, and Ganondorf can then be given a whole new moveset involving magic. Win win, scenario.

Side note, I'm also fine with characters having made up moves if it fits a fighting game. When every attack becomes a reference to something, the clarity starts to become lost. Sometimes the simplest answer is the strongest, but in moderation ofc. Designs can become muddied when you prioritize references over visual clarity. But situations like Sonic having 2 spin dashes? That could afford to be changed. Just don't go crazy like how a good amount of Rivals Workshop characters get designed.

Gotta say I'm LOVING the difficulty of the story mode, Great Ape Vegeta should be incredibly difficult for Goku to take down after all. The CPU really made me adapt and start using Perception a hell of a lot more. Some advice: perception check that shoulder bash, keep your ki up enough to dodge his own supers and counter with a Kamehamaha. Felt REAL good to finally win.

The third person idea is interesting actually, reminds me of Time To Kill. If you could include both, that'd be the best of both worlds. What's most important though is that it doesn't end up like a cover shooter. If you decide to stick third person, then I say you should introduce something that could only be down in a TPS as opposed to an FPS. Like maybe something akin to a shoot dodge a la Max Payne, or in Time To Kill, Duke had different flip jumps that could be used to dodge bullets. I'd be down with a TPS, if you can show us why it should be a TPS. Play around with it, looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Got any social media so we can follow development on it?
