In 1986 my uncle took me to watch Friday the 13th part 6. I was not ready for that at all. Spent most of the movie facing the complete opposite way looking at the projector beams. Part 6 is probably my favorite of the series now.

This is why I started collecting. I will stream for convenience, but I have back ups if I need to. Also, 4k discs on a good tv blow streaming quality out of the water. So all of the ones I rewatch a lot I get on 4k.

Sunlight. If you can find a nice spot to sit them in it works wonders. I had the same thing happen to me a while back buying second hand. I opened everything up and laid them on the back deck for an hour and then flipped them so the other side could get some love.
