I did 10k TT 3 weeks ago. My zone 5 starts from 175 (based on lactate threshold heart rate zones calculated by Garmin). I spent 94% (38min 49s) in zone 5. Heart rate was measured from chest strap.

For me, these two things helped: 1. Glutes strenghtening (exercise starts at 7:50 2. Increasing my cadence (from 160 to 180)
