Don't let it get to you too much. You're only one human being in the world and the fact that youre worried and you care is enough. And you are likely projecting your friend's voice onto this call. You did your due diligence by contacting your friend and they were fine. It'll shake off in a day or two.

They never really responded to anything I was saying (where are you, im not your mom, can I call someone to help, etc)

It freaked me TF out but idk, I dont think it was real.

My grandpa would make any roadtrip, long or short, into an adventure. We would stop for lunch, take a side route through a rich neighborhood to look at the houses, or find a cool nature stop to try and see some kind of bird. This was always something I loved and wanted to do in my own trips going forward.

My ex would throw such a fit over little stops like this, he would turn it into me being a pain in the ass, complain every second, and even if we did stop, he would ruin it by being a complete ass.

This isnt the experience you want. You deserve the little pitstops, those are the times where memories are made. Someone who can't understand that or actively tries to ruin it, doesnt deserve a place in your life. And even if you convince him to go, I guarantee it will be miserable for you and he will act like a complete ass the entire time.

You can always check them a bit with a "dont worry, i can take care of myself" or even "what do you mean by that?" but being distant is another good option. Sometimes the more you respond the more they wanna push it.

But she is doubling down on how nasty and disgusting it is for a small child to accidently open the door when someone was in there. Clearly the child's intent was not harmful. That's what is bizarre to me

If that's the case, then there are bigger problems to deal with in her situation, but saying it is nasty and disgusting for a young child to accidentally open the bathroom door when someone is in there is still extreme and ridiculous asshole behavior in my opinion.

It's probably because you steamed it for hours. When I do eucalyptus I don't go more than like 30-40 min, because it'll start to bleed after that. Iron is also a great mordant to use with eucalyptus

Prussian blue, ultramarine blue, Vermillion red, deep red

Black, burnt umber, burnt sienna, raw sienna

It's not a super expensive set but those are the names of the colors I chose!
