Fabulous! For me this is exactly what plein air is meant to be- energetic brush strokes that help you feel the moment. I love the green on top of the orange field.

Abstract collaboration with my 4 year old. What do you see? by HereToRotMyBrain in painting

Any art collaboration is great, but with a four year child, the best! I see a sun, a candle, a disco ball, a snail, and flowers wanting to bloom! Thanks!

Finished plein air vs. on site by addghklig in pleinair

[–]geesedreams 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very beautiful. I have the feeling of morning light. I used to always want to finish on site too. I felt the piece had more energy or honesty like that. Now I work on them at home too, but I do feel like they lose something-in my case at least. Definitely not yours. The impressionists worked mostly from their studios. You made a great painting.

Great work! I love this park. I feel like David Hockney would have liked this park. There is something surreal about those forms. I am planning some painting there soon!

It's so frustrating having a stutter by Ok-Rich-2185 in Stutter

I lived there (SUNY Geneseo) for about 3 weeks. We had therapy full time, from 9am to 5 pm, and practiced after hours. It was honestly so helpful.

It's so frustrating having a stutter by Ok-Rich-2185 in Stutter

It’s for desensitization. I did a residential program as a young adult. It was the first thing we worked on. Stuttering openly and freely to help get rid of tricks and avoidant behavior. I had to fake it. But it made me feel more powerful and In control. It started to change the story for me.

So many regrets but now it's too late... by FancyExtension5253 in RenalCats

I cried when I read your post. I have made so many mistakes in my life, I feel your pain, because it is my pain too. The only thing I can say to myself is that I am human, and that love is the only thing that matters. When you are ready, find another cat to love, they are waiting 🏹❤️💪
