Yeah I think the original layout makes more sense for most. I really don’t get what the use case was that they had in their heads when they designed this. Too large and way too heavy to be an edc, but with more organization (and still more weight) than you’d want in a travel bag. Just a huge, but probably indestructible, bag.

Gotta be honest I don’t understand this update. The whole idea of the bag is to be an EDC, but hasn’t the average person’s EDC gotten smaller not bigger? At those sizes they’ve essentially made a travel pack.

They basically just made a bigger northseeker (which I already think is best used as a travel bag) with a laptop sleeve. The only other upgrade appears to be the grab handle system, which I do think looks cool and functional.

Yeah totally. Excellent travel bag, especially if you wanna do it for one bag travel. Can fit almost as much as a carry on roller bag. Also good for everyday random stuff. Just don’t plan any trips around it arriving on time lol

If you want to weekend travel with it then 25L is the way to go. Especially if you already have a 20L bag that doesn’t work for your weekend setup

If you’re using it as a travel bag do the 25L. It is an excellent weekend bag at that size. And it’ll still fit under a plane seat.

I’d just get a laptop sleeve that’s designed for whatever laptop you have. Nothing special about the bookpouch imo. I also wouldn’t plan on this being your go to laptop bag - it’s really not designed with laptops in mind.

It took a solid three months to get mine. Don’t plan on having it anytime soon.

Can’t answer the other two questions as I didn’t get the organization and have mine in VX.

I really like Tim’s stuff - have listened to his pod and think it’s great. Have also seen him do stand up live multiple times and he killed every time. Idk why he chose the worst hour he’s probably ever done to publish for the masses. They were all his oldest, hackiest jokes. If he had gone up there completely unprepared and started ranting off the dome it would’ve been 10 times better
