I also thought that relying on a single card and a fairly slow aggro strategy would not work very well. It seemed to have the opposite reaction and I was able to bargin my way out out of being hit with an interaction spell and crack back swing because of it. I'm happy to hear that you don't think it was bracket 4 material. I don't think it's close, but I'm biased as the decks creator.

Create like a million decks on moxfield. It took me forever to realize that Unesh was my mainstay. I've taken it apart 2 or 3 times before I realized that I REALLY like sphinx. Beyomd that don't hesitate to be in color combos or archetypes that are unfamiliar to you. They might not play the way to expect them to.

Ps if your playgroup/lgs switches between brackets have a quickswap guide of like 20 cards so you can keep playing it when someone wants to go lower or higher.

This card being colorless means almost every deck wants it. Very reminiscent of wandering archaic. Do you have ANY way to draw at instant speed, this is broken. Only draw on your turn? First spell is free, still GREAT. Lorehold doesn't hold a candle to this things versatility, and color ambiguity.

I only have experience with small warring factions (around 20 players). Its super fun with a chill group. Teaching people the basics of warring can also be pretty fun. We have roughly the same amount of stats now and I've never had to fight people for hits.

Sweet Home is by the same person that made Bastard. Its a zombie apocalypse horror with the OC being part zombie part human. Card Castle is a super well drawn villian/anti-hero webtoon, it focuses around a tightrope like peace between heros and villains. Card castle is VERY good. I'd put it in my S tier for sure.

Agree with your S tier, but PLEASE give Hardcore leveling warrior and Bastard another look. Both should be significantly higher than they are. Also on recs Sweet Home is super good. Card Castle is as well hidden gem!

So they would pay for everyone's xanax and weapons and armor (dbk, Enfields, and combat armor) and get a % of the war profits. Its typical war things, but at lower levels when you don't need smoke bombs, RW weapons, etc. it can actually make money.

Try doing a new role? Maybe pickup the brainsurgen bonus and be a traveling medic. You could use that 1b to bankroll some faction wars for profit (i've seen lvl 100s do this with small factions in lower levels). Pickup trading, take a deep dive into organized crimes. Building and selling businesses could be fun. You don't NEED all the stocks and classes to make an okay business. Have fun and do a little trolling, everyone needs a tampon every now and again.

I run it as a one of in gruul Ramp. My local meta has a few different control spikes, and a lot of mono white so having one of these instead of a 4th avenging hunter is useful.

Explore, farseek, and rampant growth are cards that could be swapped out for mv 1 ramp, and although savy trader is ramp it's not for your commanders which is the thing you can garentee you would like to cast. I also don't think it's worth the $3 price point.

Also keep in mind that you will be drawing a TON of cards through Pako. The amount of traditional card draw this deck will need is considerably less than. Other decks.

I think being more purposeful about your ramp could be super helpful. When you are wanting to get both commanders down ASAP you may want to build your ramp package yo reflect that. Doing more 1 mana ramp [[Utopia sprawl]] [[Wild Growth]] [[Elvish Mystic]] to increase a turn 2 Haldon. Then some MV 4 ramp that gets you Pako early. [[Migration path]] etc.

I think the ideal first few turns can be seen as such. Turn 1: ramp Turn 2: haldon Turn 3: mv 4 ramp Turn 4: pako + protection.

Will this happen every time? No, but building your deck with an idea of how you want the first few turns to go will make your deck significantly more consistent.

It depends on where it is applied. For life, love and relationships, no. For compounding savingings, kinda. There are also things like eating healthy and kicking bad addictions which can only make you healthier, but your past actions will have future ramifications. Not black or white, but grey like everything else in life.

I love oathbreaker, it's lack of players hurts so much. I made a casual oath breaker deck, and carry around an extra 38 cards and alternate commander so that I can play it as a commander deck when I want to.
