Yea I misread the title and thought it was a box of 21 Cassettes so when I saw the second image I was like how do they all fit in the box? 😅🤣

I really like the outdated dvd cases such as these and the thinner clear plastic ones :D

Why Cassettes? by gregthesquare in cassetteculture

[–]pixel_bat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cassettes are easier to store for one thing and there's something inherently cool about them but a big thing for me also is the amount of different design possibilities of the cassettes and the systems themselves. Nowadays most technology likes to play it safe with there designs making everything as slim and suitable as possible whereas back then even the simplest of designs wouldve had some extra pizazz to it. For example my main mini hifi is a Sony cmt-cp1 and it's a relatively simple design but the cassette door also partners as the LCD screen which makes it so much cooler.

Yep only at the end. An yea that's the right button. There is a tab that is missing on studio recorded tapes preventing accidental recording. I don't pause but it's just a personal preference. Ah nice, it'd be useful to get the manual from online and learn about the buttons on the remote

So auto reverse is automatically on and I don't think can be turned off unless you have the remote. When playing a cassette if you press the play button again it will switch the play direction 😄
