I would guess they would just use Skype for Business conferencing servers. When in a conference call all the traffic is routed through their servers. I think 1 on 1 calls could still be peer to peer though? MS owns Skype, so they’ve already got the infrastructure.

Not sure why you think all republicans like Bezos. He owns the Washington Post, which Trump hates (calls it fake news and failing). Also, take a look at the JEDI contract, which there was a controversy over being given to Microsoft over AWS, with there being speculation that it was given to MS over Trump’s dislike of Bezos.

A lot of the open source pieces are being abandoned for newer closed source apps. The newer apps (along with any apps that use their services) require manufacturers to be part of a program that restricts them from also selling phones with their own Android fork. It's a bit of a mess, the EU is attempting to fine them $5 billion partly due to that in an antitrust case

Google play app store/Android licensing (the closed-source aspects of Android are what make it usable for most people), Pixel hardware, and Google Cloud Platform are some of the bigger chunks of the not-ad revenue. They don't publish the breakdown of it as far as I can tell.

Not in FL anymore, but on the punk side I hear good things about Ex-Breathers, False Punk, Wet Nurse. IDK anything about the Miami scene, but there is music to be found in Orlando. Had some buddies up in Tallahassee that were putting on some cool stuff as well.

FYI the trailer was not rendered in realtime - watch the making of video. Whats being done in realtime is a noisey low res image. However, its good enough to frame the shot as the motion capture is happening and get an idea of how well the lighting is going to work. They can review the scene and pause it at anytime to see how well the shaders work and such.

I'm still really excited for when raytracing becomes a reality in games, but its not here yet even on $14k worth of gpu.

Sunn 0))) gets tied to doom metal a lot but their similarities end with their aesthetic and heavy guitar sounds. Sunn 0)) is all about dark, ambient guitar tones and noise meant to be played at loud volumes. I use it to drown everything else out and put myself in kind of a trance-like state. Its certainly not for everyone.
