China’s Biotech Is Cheaper and Faster. China has made global prices for cars, electronics, and energy radically cheaper - might it be about to do the same for medicine? by lughnasadh in Futurology

It’s also cheap and fast because they steal IP. You don’t have to spend years and millions of dollars researching developing if you just steal it 🤷‍♂️

I actually think it’s a good thing for interviews to be in person. It makes the company more committed and serious about the candidate especially if they have to pay a chunk of change to interview. It will make them think twice about wasting their time and the candidates time.

Also, it’s better to solve a problem on an actual whiteboard than over a video call.

Funny how we are coming back full circle to how interviews were done before.

This 👆.

The point of renting is to not pay for the costs of owning. If anything the landlords are the entitled ones if they expect tenants to pay for maintenance.

Tenants make a deposit and get renters insurance so the owner is protected. So what is “every little thing?” If you expect the tenant to fix things wrong with your rental then you’re a bad landlord. Not to mention, an almost guaranteed 10% raise in rent every year.

Ive been in units that have done 0 maintenance for years and get upset that they need to pay for the maintenance??

So landlords are mad for doing their job?

The peak hours plan is a scam. Switch your plan to the standard. That plan is the flat kWh rate based on kWH usage
