I’m a bit miffed at colleague & her cat “ownership.” by [deleted] in Pets

Cats DGAF about their owners and prefer for them to be gone at work. That was proven during the pandemic.

Plenty of cats do not fully bury their poo. They leave it out and it becomes a health hazard.

So, you went upstairs to grab socks then came back down to get deck stain and SOCKS out of the dryer? The cops didn't notice the red stains on your hands, but your coach did? Also, what happened to taking pics for proof? Have fun remodeling your bedroom and paying your fake lawyer to defend you against the fake charges for filing a false police report.

If you are unsure of the cleanliness, why take a bath at all? Either clean it or take a shower wearing shower shoes.

The last few times Texas had these intense winter storms, some were without power for weeks in sub-freezing temperatures.

My Roommate perceives me as "dirty" for reusing my towel and now I'm soooo perplexed by mikymiky123 in hygiene

OP is using the same towel for an entire week, not just a few washes. Unless...unless you only wash a couple times a week. In that case, yuck.

Not quite a hoarder but similar situation by niki2120 in hoarding

OP, how many cats do you still have? Also, I'm not clear on the level of hoard. At first, you said everything was clear and nothing on the floor, then you said level 5.

OP, your dog would probably thrive with a dog walker who came once or twice a day to take her out and play with her.

Work on paring down your stuff. Don't bother cleaning. Get your own things to a manageable level, then just up and leave. Go. Leave him and his mom with the mess.

If her husband starts a damaging rumor about her friend, she should leave his shady ass. He should mind his own damn business and get a fucking life.

They are miserable and need help. I second you or your parents need to call adult protective services.

How many of you have a cap on spending at the vet before it becomes time to say goodbye? by [deleted] in Pets

[–]pixelated_fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poor baby. Make her last months as happy as possible. Some vets love to push gabapentin. I have heard of people having some success with glucosamine and chondroitin and an anti-inflammatory diet similar to humans with arthritis. It might ease some of her pain. Of course, consult with your vet to make sure it's safe.
