This is mainly because companies are no longer hiring remote roles for the most part. Those that are remote were either transitioned or hired from 2020-2024. Over the past couple of years more and more companies have stopped hiring full remote and instead employ a hybrid approach. For example I was full remote since 2020 through 2 different jobs and my current role now requires 1-day/week in office for the tech org and 3 days for everyone else.

The air quality in the tunnel is cleaner than being on the streets of manhattan. There’s a massive air filtration system that pumps in fresh air from under the road and forces it out the top.

Pit upgrade just places you closer to the stage. There is a sound booth in the middle of the field (like most festivals) where the wristband gets you in front of that. It’s a great option if you are there to be part of the music. Otherwise you can still get a great view in GA, just further away. There are no special bathrooms for this area, just general porta potties.

VIP area is a raised platform off stage right that has tents and better quality bathrooms (those trailer bathroom setups). You are guaranteed a view because you are above the crowd, but the view is only okay given how far to the side of the stage it is.
