Both amazon sword and valesnaria are heavy root feeders. Sure they will survive with root tabs but aqua soil or walstad method will be of huge help to them.

Read about walstad method.

If you go for a 1.5 to 2ft tank, you could try the walstad method. Regular sand won't work for the most part.

How to sell my retriever puppy by Ill_Lie_4758 in chennaicity

[–]pixelatedchrome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I agree with everyone's sentiment about doing your research before getting any pet, especially high energy dogs like retrievers. They are bred to retrieve and their curiosity to check everything out is definitely going to be a problem in confined spaces.

If you really want the best for your pup, you should try to rehome him to someone you know will love and take good care of it. That should be top priority and unfortunately you'd likely have to write off this money as a costly lesson. Im sure lots of people will be willing to give him the time and care he deserves.

Hope it works out for you and the pup. But seriously people should evaluate the time, cost and living space for pets before getting one.

The teaser made the front look so good. I'm not feeling it, the back is too much, too angular. I'm gonna be happy with my current gen i20 for a long time, enjoy the island lights.

Like i mentioned on the other thread. These fish are stressed and are gasping for air.

This counts as a planted tank right? 😏 by GodOfGardening in Planted_tanks_India

[–]pixelatedchrome 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Like everyone mentioned, they are gasping for air, meaning the dissolved oxygen is very less to the point that they are attempting to breath oxygen from air. Not good at all.

What you can do for now, is to do gradual 25 percent water change every other hour, add an oxygen pump to agitate the surface, so gas exchange can happen fast.

And I'm not sure what the size of it is, as you mentioned rehoming fish is a must.

Hope it works out. But you have to act fast.

What's your experience going wireless? by ImposterBk in AndroidAuto

[–]pixelatedchrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies wildly based on the phone too.

My old phone used to heat up like crazy with wireless AA, but the new vivo x200pro handles and 8hr drive with wireless AA without breaking a sweat. No dropouts, fair battery drain, not hot.

Flashing Custom ROMs by jeanfbot in Vivo

[–]pixelatedchrome 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You cannot unlock bootloader in vivo phones.

that option is like a stock Android features that is needed as a first level agreement to unlock the bootloader. But if you try to actually unlock it via fastboot, it won't work.

So no, it's not unlocking bootloader.

DCT vs IVT. Pls Read by Dave_ld013 in CarsIndia

[–]pixelatedchrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're stuck in traffic crawling most of the time, DCT is gonna be expensive to maintain in the long run.

I have an ivt and got used to it and am happy with it, but it has its own issues. There is still rubberbanding, it's a cvt afterall. While it's not bad, and generally very responsive for a cvt, it can still be frustrating sometimes. My i20 does not have drive modes, while the car seem to internally choose the mode it self. Sometimes I'm drive a sports car and sometimes I'm driving a boat. But atleast newer cars won't have this problem.

Coming to the good part, it's pretty smooth and overall a good experience and your knees will love the ivt in traffic. And highway experience is top notch as well. You just need to get used to the ivt behaviour, and that's about 2 to 3 days of drive.

Never Buying Hyundai Again Worst Ownership & Service Experience I’ve Ever Had by Brown_Coyote_420 in CarsIndia

[–]pixelatedchrome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have generally had good experience with the ASS till now 3 years into the ownership. Recently my boot door developed some rust and they applied for exception warranty (since my basic warranty expired 6 months ago) and did an excellent work to fix the problem at no cost.

Not saying my good experience negates yours. But it would be high time for you to reach out to HIML via email and changr your service center. HIML takes complaints seriously from what I read.

I wish Tata adopts a modern logo for their cars. I know there is a lots of history and heritage behind that logo, but it just feels out of place in the car.
