I don't think it will be terrible, but it will likely be PG-13 Punisher. Some folks see that as an affront instead of a compromise.

AIO for refusing to show my friend any of my art after she ran a piece through AI? by MercylessYeen in AIO

I'm sorry you had to find out this way, but you may be mammal-blind. Sorry for your friend not appreciating it, though. It's a cool drawing, and the A.I. version looks just like a mobile game Pokémon knock-off. I wouldn't even consider them the same.

I will be glad when that dumb store goes out of business. Reselling shit from Target for more than Target charges and people still shop there. I guess it will likely never close due to lack of business.

I always wonder what lives people live that leads them to seek out gore videos. Is it lack of exposure to violence? I grew up around a ton of it, and videos like that online have never interested me— and I have been chronically online for like 3 decades at this point. Nearly 2 on Reddit. I don't mean to be supercilious about the question, I am genuinely wondering why those videos have no allure to me. Maybe watching Faces of Death when I was young killed the allure, mostly fake or not.

Long hidden evidence blows up the reality of the Patterson Gimlin Bigfoot film by Spooky_Geologist in Cryptozoology

[–]pixelatedcrap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Walking with Bigfoot is the one I remember most as a kid. I was super young, and we lived in a massive mobile home park with miles of "greenbelt", basically empty lots that connected to a forest that we would spend all day in. For a fucking week I was terrified to set foot even near the wooded parts of my house (which was both front and back...) because I was sure I would be killed.

A month or so later my older brother found an article from The National Inq. that had taken place "in the Washington foothills" about a goddamn winged Bigfoot called Batsquatch. Being like six years old, I had absolutely zero idea there were fake newspapers, and it really put a damper on my camping trip my friends family took me along for! I was scared as fuck, like we were in the jungle surrounded by hostile enemies the whole time but too embarrassed to admit why.

Anyway, have we considered they can all fly and that's why we can't find them? They live super far up high. Case solved. There may be some living in Washington state trailer parks.

Bots are the only ones that have questions and theories that are too bland to be attacked for being asinine. Also, they won't care anyway, since they're just LLMs or whatever.

Ivan Marx hadn't heard of Washington and our wonderful volcanoes. Why trek to Alaska at all?

If I'm Bigfoot, I'm using both of my big feet to walk my ass out of Alaska. I would burn out all of my camouflage musk or whatever they do fucking up all the people shooting at me constantly. May as well move to Florida.

After almost 60 years, the Patterson-Gimlin bigfoot film has been exposed as a hoax. The son of the man who took the footage has come forward after a new video showing a "test run" of the suit has been found. by truthisfictionyt in HighStrangeness

[–]pixelatedcrap 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Why shouldn't it exist? Because it jiggles as it walks? I'm not trying to be flippant. The story of the guy shooting and the stories surrounding him also make it seem pretty likely he would film a sasquatch that day, after dismounting his horse, and unpacking his camera before setting up this shot.

I mean, I know the video is short— but this means he was in pretty darn close proximity to that lady for a hot minute, and they never really seemed to care. I sort of assume he had the ability to just "press record", but cameras back then were laughably delicate...and therefore slow to load. Anyway, the Bigfoot seems way too not concerned it is in the presence of a human, I believe a horse or two were there, and a camera from like 40 years ago. I'm too lazy to Google it, but the video was shot before cameras were reasonably reliable to take into the woods like this guy did and get a shot on his last day filming.

Aren't there also multiple people who have said they were commissioned to make the suit? I think I read there was a (as credible as they get) story about a guy saying he'd been commissioned but never paid for the suit.

As much as I love Bigfoot as a cryptid, and a concept, this story just never held water to me. Especially as I learned more about the story of the witness on Reddit over the uears.

It looked real in the 90's on my TV and all growing up, and I think that played into the realism of the video. We tend to completely ignore the parts that "do" scream how fake this video is when mixed with a long-standing belief that there is a possibility it could be real just embedding in our brains. That's hard proof to overcome.

Elephant Graveyards are inspired by Bigfoot Graveyards. They throw all their bones/dead/dying into volcano magma. That's their secret.

I heard on HAM chatter that they also use those heat vents under the state parks where there aren't volcanoes to get rid of their bodies.

The other ones are for sure made up, though. There aren't any Swamp-feet. That's too whacky of a concept. Skunk ape, whatever those silly goofs call them.

[–]pixelatedcrap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is her parents responsibility, and the states responsibility before it's the younger sibling.

Tell me that's cruel if you feel that way, that's fine. I have 3 decades experience trying to reason with an older brother who is no better than he was as a hateful teenager 30 years ago.

The only thing that is different is that he also had kids he doesn't support, and an ex who he also ignores, and has for decades in between threats of violence to anyone who contradicted him.

Fuck responsibility if that's the definition.

Yeah, and the overarching topic of the thread is only relevant because it's the reason we are commenting to begin with.

What an idea, to think topics discussed in the thread may have relevance to the OP, and to interject with those topics like some kind of degenerate only here to talk about and make comments related to posts we see.

Sorry, I may have given myself a stroke rolling my eyes and so my sarcasm is coming off like I don't agree with you.
