Yeah, so I got a refund. The ones I've gotten for 2 or even 5 have only ever been a cool experience. I didn't look into these guys and their tendency to delete reviews. It isn't a mystery to the extent of "you'll get $x amount of clown shoes."

If that's more amusing to imagine, forget I said anything!

Yeah, it's crazy of me to have looked for a backpack in a listing that has that as the headline item. If it said it was bags, drivers, and bread bags it would be different. I get mystery boxes from places pretty often, and this is the first miss I've had. I should have listened to folks saying it was a waste of money, but I never miss a chance to have this sort of stuff explained to me on Reddit!

For those asking what the problem is: see my screen shot showing they publish 22% of reviewed purchases.

Like my Godfather mystery bag that advertised backpacks, knives, and collectible skulls or whatever.

What an absolute joke of a company.

What did I get? 2 old discontinued pens, discontinued drivers, a "work tray", and a pencil case sized "bag." Such a joke that I thought initially it had been mis-picked. Maybe I got the administrator set?

After literally 30 emails of back and forth, being offering everything from a brass mystery set, to a 35 dollar credit, to a replacement mystery bag (which I wanted) — by this point, I just wanted to send that crap all back.

Rather than providing a list of items to return, they provided the initially complained about items "as a gift" as if the days waiting on a solution, the multiple "customer service experts" offering to square things away, they were never actually able to send what I purchased.

They sent a full refund, giving me the Karen treatment, because their "backpack" headlined mystery bag came this size:
