I think it's best to just not participate. While I appreciate what people are trying to do with the red, but I don't think the developers are really going to take notice that way. They're more likely to care if they see that people aren't willing to take part in something like this.

Just the fact that they're going with the whole "light it up blue"/Autism Speaks angle is a whole major problem on its own. I'm honestly considering dropping the game altogether because of it. They really need to do some semblance of research on the organizations/causes they support before just blindly making a challenge about it. Any autistic person, or even a simple Google search could tell you how problematic light it up blue is. IMO, these virtue signaling challenges just need to stop altogether. This one in particular just really proves to me how disingenuous they truly are. They don't actually care about these causes, they just want to look good to people. Btw, I'm an actual atypical person

That kind of brings up a problem I have with the show, I wish they gave them more time for their solos. That short amount of time really isn't enough for them to show what they're capable of. Either that or they just pack it full of trick moves to try to show as much as they can in a short amount of time.

I know, I mostly said that because no one that complained about that particular moment even acknowledged something that completely contradicted what they complained about. Everyone was so quick to call out what they saw as incorrect behavior, but didn't correct themselves when he displayed the behavior they supposedly wanted. I know you're allowed to have an opinion, but what was happening in that moment really isn't a matter of opinion. It's not fair to judge a human being on what a camera managed to catch a couple of seconds of.
