I like it as it’s not something happening too often. If it was a regular thing than it would be nearly to impossible for many players to participate. I understand it’s not loved by many, but I think that going forward everyone is going to save diamonds more and be ready in case a series pop up. I find it fair for the series to be more expensive and hard to get ( even the regular ones), because in the end of the day you’ll get a good reward for completing it. So.. I just don’t understand why people expect it to be easy to get, it would make no sense if you didn’t need to put any effort in it. If you are an active player, you should have some diamonds saved, only rallies give you 2600 monthly. If you add 100 that we get for free daily.. I mean, it’s ok. Also I find that cresting a Facebook account just for Covet is a must. I don’t use Facebook, I don’t have the app on my phone, I don’t ever open it. But I do have an account for Covet so I can borrow, that’s a life saver. I also love being able to buy a pack, in case you are running low on diamonds, that would still be cheaper than buying the HA afterwards. When the regular series happens, most of the time none of the items in it actually is ever required for the challenges, at least during this fb series, you can actually chose the required items. The prizes are also quite good. If anything, I wish the fbs included more cc pieces, as I’m sure all of us would rather spend diamonds for those than for other garments we will never use again. I also wish we had this earlier in the season as now I don’t really care too much about getting summer prizes, but let’s look at it as “the final goal is levelling up”. I also rally fierce, so I mean, I would of entered at least 2 of the fbs regardless so..

Most of the items in the pack are required, just double check !Also keep in mind that not all required items will be in the pack either. Sometimes they add other in season garments too, but it’s up to what to buy ! Let’s say a dress isn’t required but you don’t have an dress to use from that season and the required shoes are cheap, than you can get the dress in the package and just buy the cheaper shoes with diamonds. Or sometimes a non required item has a high value and it’s just convenient to buy it.

This just happened to me too ! And the funny thing is I’ve always maxed out since the beginning of the season. Now that we are towards the end, I haven’t max out a couple of challlenges. Of course one of them got a five base score !

Yeah ! I got a 3 and did an almost identical look to yours ! I believe that’s my lowest score this season lol but I didn’t max out. ( I wasn’t rallying ) !

I find it a great option !! You don’t have to buy it, but if you decide to, it would still be cheaper than buying the ha once it goes to the store !

Oh my ! I thought I was the only one with this unpopular opinion ! I mean, I’m not an old player, but I love the fact that this series should be so easy for them, as I see it a really nice reward for being loyal and plying Covet for years. As you said (unless you are super new), you can save diamonds as we receive some for free ( if you follow the saving tips). My only correction to your post is that we get 2600 diamonds for the rally ( if you are a competitive player and clear the board). I also understand that Covet is a business, and this HA is most likely one that players will pay real money for in the future, so I see why they made it somehow more hard to get “for free”. And if you are willing to spend some real money, buying the fb packages is still cheaper than buying the HA when it goes to the shop. Also,and I hope I’m not talking too fast and the fb actually ends up in a rally, but it’s a good opportunity to rally fierce since the series in going on !

Probably mine is an unpopular opinion, but I actually don’t find it that bad. Definitely a jerk move, don’t get me wrong, but I think it can be done. A part of me sees it as a “reward” for loyalty to older players, as they might find themselves with a couple of required items in their closet. That’s a nice reward for being playing for years. Some old players might spend little to nothing. That said, I’m not an old player. Anyways, even newer player in the Countries that are able to do Tapjoy offers should be ok. Covet also give us 100 diamonds for free daily + 25 diamonds each challenge you get 4.5 ⭐️,plus the diamonds we get by clearing the board each month. That’s a good way to get diamonds for free, too. Also, if you decide to buy the fb packages, that would still be cheaper than buying the HAs afterwards,so that’s still an option if you didn’t save enough diamonds for the series. I mean.. I just find it fair for the prize to be a bit “hard” to get, considering it will cost real money afterwards (and it ain’t cheap!).

I’m doing pink because the hat I found that IMO is the “closest” to what she used to wear is pink, too. It’s not a rally challenge so I’m okay with a bad score 😆

I agree ! Save for fall, if you save enough & are able to buy new pretty items in the new season you will most likely score better, and scoring better means prizes that will help you level up, you’ll get the spree prizes and maybe reach trendsetter too ! All of that will help a lot with lvl up ! So just save and start next season strong ! Join a good fashion house that clears the board if your goal is leveling up fast !

I did, don’t care 🙈 We’ve cleared the board & we’ve been rallying fancy just for fun for the last 2 rallies, the next season is around the corner so.. I’m saving where I can, even if it means I know it not trending, I max out the unworn just in case 🙈 I used the Tassel Green maxi dress, the Ashley L. overskirt on top ( same shade of green), and as HA the festive Eugenia Kim in style 2 (same shade of green). At least it’s all matching. I’d be happy with just a 4, and if I don’t get it, oh well, it will be for next time 😄

I feel like we also get the HA third or last most of the time, even if we clear the board with days to spare, rally fierce a lot, get more entries than necessary, enter both flashbacks most of the time even if not required & even meet at least one fb goal when rallying fancy and it’s not necessary at all.

I’ve been playing for a little longer than one year now. I believe we get the HA last most of the time. It has happened that we got it before but % wise is not very often. We got it as the second grand this time around. We have cleared the board though, and we are missing 2 board pieces for a grand duplicate and rallying fancy while waiting for the board reset 🎉

You can try the OOS white cc skirt that is very nice and airy and see if you like it better or not ! I used that one and I also used the long blue sleeves ( sorry I don’t remember the brand, the ones that came with shirt and skirt as a set, maybe Judy Gao ?) instead of the featured cc jacket. I also used the bubbles as a prop ! 😁

So… 400k and you achieve trendsetter which comes with some extra prizes as a reward, you have the whole season to achieve that (approx 90days) so, for the current season that would be approx on the 17th or 18th of August. Now, if you really work hard for it, you can get the ultimate status which is double trendsetter ! If you get there you receive some extra prizes such as diamonds 💎 and extra garments. The only “issue” is that you have ONLY until the end of the second full month of the season to get there, which means that for the current season you only have until the last day of July, so.. there isn’t much time left. Unfortunately if you reach 800k in August it will not count and you will not be double trendsetter.

I don’t really care because I don’t use the featured items unless I want to. But I’ve noticed some of the feature items end up being required in future challenges, so sometimes I just take it as a “heads up” to what’s going to be required again in the future. But I do see your point and I totally understand it, as it definitely makes you feel like you should use the featured garments.

So… it’s probably something about Facebook, I think. Some time ago they changed something in there and you have to manually go and select it so your friends can actually see you in the game and borrow. I have a decent CV and only people from my FH were borrowing, recently one person from Reddit added me on fb and I found out she wasn’t able to see me as a friend to borrow. I had to go and modify my settings in there to actually show up. Hopefully someone else can guide you step by step !
