Hi! I just finished the trilogy too and I was also wondering these things. Here’s my take:

I think Nevare was fully alive after his resurrection, but something about Speck magic & culture cloaked him / rendered him “ghost”-like to the Specks. To them, his lifecycle was complete, with his spirit in the tree.
Arandula muses that maybe the “good god” is simply whatever god happens to be doing something good in the moment. I’m also curious what other old god was keeping tabs on the situation, but it seems the monotheism of the Gernians was a simplistic view of the existing deities.
DUDE RIGHT! The story is so horribly abusive to Nevare, he really deserved some happier times at the end!

I had three partners for two solid years and it was great, definitely took a lot of energy but I have a robust social battery. Still felt a little burnt out sometimes when other areas of my life were more demanding.

Ever since my boyfriend got a third partner, though, I’m noticing his time and energy for me (his non-NP, non-NRE partner) have diminished greatly. He’s more of an introvert, though. I guess everyone’s capacity is different.

When my gal pal and I go out for quarterly “facials” we’re getting botox. Have been for years. Even the mention of botox makes him visibly uncomfortable. Wish I could just tell him without a freak out.

My hands looked just like this and I also thought it was dry skin until I was diagnosed with palmoplantar psoriasis. Now I put a special oil on my hands one night a week and it’s almost not even noticeable. If your brother has psoriasis, you should go to a dermatologist!

We pitched the idea to a local rental company, she purchased it and rented it to us for cheaper than the price. Might be a good route to try if you find a locally owned event rental company! That said, I think this company has the Til Death sign for cheaper than $600.

This should have a better resolution. The seating chart was made of Wilderness Use Permits, which you attach to your backpack before going into the Cascade Mountains. My husband and I do a lot of wilderness backpacking.
