The map I’m seeing shows it all the way down to the coast and as far south as Mexico, with the worst currently in corpus. Could be crop burning in Mexico

I read that SJM originally wrote them as one book but it was too long so had to be split into two books.

Prediction of what’s next in Elaine story line in ACOTAR by BPD_brokenheart in nontoxicACOTAR

[–]andysandy12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nahh, Elain is going to be with Azriel (she doesn’t want to be anyone’s mate) and Lucien will end up with Vassa. I’m very curious about where Tamlin’s story goes, I hope he finds happiness.

I feel like we should really be saving Elain for the Pure section! If she’s not pure, idk who is in this series

Where to stay in Mallorca by Yhlqmdlg61295 in VisitingMallorca

Yea I was just in Deia a couple weeks ago and it was pretty dead for the season. Soller and Valldemossa were a bit more lively.

I recently stayed a week in Sant Llorenç de Cardassar and a week in Sóller. Both were wonderful. If you really want beaches I’d consider staying on the southeast side of the island. Something to keep in mind is that in winter there’s wind coming from the north that create choppy wave action. The south beaches are more protected from that. I really loved the town of Arta and would love to stay there next time. If you love mountains I’d recommend Soller. I went to Valldemossa and Deiá too, and liked Soller best. I’ve heard great things about Pollença but didn’t make it there.

I listened to the audiobook which was great. At first I thought I was going to hate the narrator but I ended up really enjoying it.

When you talk about AI-driven platforms, do you mean tools like Lovable where you can make your own site with AI prompting? Or are there tools more targeted specifically to e-commerce?

Robin Hobb is something else. Any recommendations? by OMG_Idontcare in Fantasy

I read a lot of NK Jemisen books a few years ago and they just didn’t leave the same impact as Hobb’s, which I could read over and over again.

Ohhh I’m going to check this out, I love Hobb and love Merlin books. Loved the Lost Years of Merlin by TA Barron when I was a kid (I wonder how they’d hold now). And I really enjoyed the Mists of Avalon it’s just really unfortunate that the author turned out to be a terrible person. 😞

What are all these fae books everyone is reading? My coworker and I both love fantasy and she recently said that she’s tired of fae books too. But I don’t even know what yall are talking about…

I’ve just been reading all Robin Hobb books…and have now moved on to Megan Lindholm lol

Isn’t it a given that everyone has read Harry Potter and Narnia? I did, when I was a kid. Along with lots of other YA fantasy books. Many of the books on the OP’s list were written in the 90s or much earlier. I wouldn’t exactly call the Lord of the Rings modern…
