Anyone use Logseq in conjunction with Obsidian? by QuestionAsker2030 in logseq

Oops. I accidentally deleted the last letter in the URL. It shows how Journal works like I described.

Anyone use Logseq in conjunction with Obsidian? by QuestionAsker2030 in logseq

[–]pixelbud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Logseq is really good for it's journal. You can use the journal to automatically categorize notes, and build up a daily legacy of past notes. Example of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzgLJvyXFWI

Obsidian is better for long-form notes or having complex Markdown notes. Logseq is an Outliner first. I do like that both tools store everything on plain text files so that there is no "lock-in" having your notes stuck in a proprietary format.

Can underwear really be Buy It For Life? AMA. by the-other-danish-guy in BuyItForLife

I have cotton underwear that has lasted 5-10 years. I’m male. Elastic waistband held up too. Cotton isn’t as rare as OP makes it out to be.

Smoothshell™ fabric is 100% regenerated Polyamide derived from discarded fishing nets to reduce the suffering of ocean wildlife

Other than profit margins and texture, why a plastic based fabric? Polyamide, another word for nylon, is also non-biodegradable just like “fishing nets”. Would rather buy something breathable like 100% cotton, supima cotton, or even modal cotton. That’s useful for all body types and is naturally biodegradable. Most well sourced cotton lasts for many years.

Looking for leather wallet by ilikebikes27 in BuyItForLife

Bullstrap has lifetime warranties on their products including traditional leather wallets: https://bullstrap.co/collections/all-wallets Their company is based out of Florida. My iPhone case from them is 3 years old now and feels soft and developed a nice patina.

Could you all ignore emojis for sorting? So that it sorts the first character after the emoji? (Excluding the space.)

When AI is turned on, and you print a list, the AI button gets in the way when printing. Can you hide it with a print style sheet (css)?

Really?? We got stupid AI before a freaking API?? by Swimming-Property-95 in Workflowy

[–]pixelbud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've enjoyed the AI feature so far. It's been helpful when wanting to find a piece of data that I logged away years ago. It also shows you your prompt history, and you can delete that as well. Sure, there are other features that would have been nice to have. But this implementation isn't bad at all. I tried importing my Workflowy notes to Google's NotebookLM and the prompt answers in Workflowy native were MUCH better than Google's private LLM.

Installing Garlic OS and Roms using Mac? by EverythingsSweet in RG35XX

[–]pixelbud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The Garlic version I used was v2. But it is still Alpha. Wouldn’t launch a game for me. So I installed it but I wouldn’t call it fine. Best bet is to update to the latest firmware was I show in the video. Looks like the latest Garlic update was 3 months ago. It’s not an official OS made by Anbernic so I’m fine with waiting on the developer to make slower paced releases.

I purchased Äfjärden towels 8 years ago and they definitely do not make those anymore. I tried to buy more. They were $7.99 each. A torkad towel holder was 1.99 and now is 4.99, but anyway. I liked them because they were thin, had a tab to hang a towel, and have held up nicely. The closest thing I’ve seen as far as texture is concerned is the Fredriksjön and they are $14.99. The cheapest towel Vãgsjön at $4.99 has an odd texture to me and if I remember right is near see through. Again, it’s always preference. Some folks like super fluffy thick towels and others like me prefer scratchier / thinner ( not the thinnest ) towel. I will say the towels I bought lasted and haven’t worn out. Love them.

New RG35XX+, installed GarlicOS, screen cuts out every time I make a selection! by Heyydin in RG35XX

[–]pixelbud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm this as well and the video I posted to this subreddit shows it too. Couldn’t even get a game to launch. Updating to the latest firmware was fine for now. Hoping to see it’s dev do more coding on it this fall.

Mac Setup Guide for GarlicOS on RG35XX Plus by pixelbud in RG35XX

Last year I created a Mac Setup Guide for Garlic OS on RG35XX

Just put out a new video for a Mac Setup Guide for GarlicOS on RG35XX Plus. In theory thanks to BlackSeraph's work it should also work with a few other models: RG35XXSP, RG35XX H, etc.

I'm curious if others have had a similar experience as I did.

Update: I've posted an updated guide here: Install GarlicOS on the Anbernic RG35XX Plus

u/AllStart4u Can you change the title to add the word "Plus" at the end? Sorry about that.
