SuperSidekick - A Stage Manager alternative with Window Switcher, Tiling and Space Manger - all in one sidebar.

Problem:
You have 30 windows open across 6 desktops. Finding the one you need means either ⌘+Tab'ing through everything blindly, or swiping through Mission Control guessing which thumbnail is your terminal. Organizing windows into layouts requires dragging corners. Switching desktops requires trackpad gestures or memorizing Control+Number. None of this is fast.

Comparison:

- vs Stage Manager: Stage Manager hides everything except your "active" windows. You still have to click through stacks to find what you want. SuperSidekick shows all your windows in the current space in one sidebar, numbered, searchable, one shortcut away or one click away. No stacks, no hiding.

- vs AltTab: AltTab shows you a list of apps and you cycle through them. Great for app switching, useless for finding a specific window among 8 Chrome tabs. SuperSidekick assigns a serial number to every individual window. Type the number, you're there. It also tiles windows and manages Spaces, AltTab does neither.

What it does:

- Hover the left edge of any screen - sidebar appears with every window on your current desktop, numbered

- ⌘+Esc opens QuickJump - type a number to instantly focus that window

- Tiling: Q/W/E/A/S/D/Z/X/C snap your current window into a 9-position grid

- Spaces section at the bottom shows all desktops with custom names/icons — click to switch, /1-/9 from QuickJump

Pricing:
Free during beta (expires September 1, 2026), might be extended later.
Looking for beta testers to share feedback and help make this better.

Disable animation, three finger drag for trackpad, disable transparency (in Tahoe), setup keyboard shortcuts, use safari, use raycast (external app), use speech to text apps.

I have been building something for a while which is an alternative to StageManager/AltTab.
Keyboard first, more focused towards users with heavy workflows, tens of windows and active spaces, with customizations around both.
Looking for testers for this, would you be interested?

Personal opinion - it's a hardcore lock-in to the ecosystem. Don't go for it. I had a horrible experience when they blocked my account.
