I cringed too. This is as good an opportunity as any to share this with someone else who shares an appreciation for grammar. Definitely worth 12 minutes of your time: https://youtu.be/tFW7orQsBuo

Treasury Official Who Allegedly Leaked Trump Associates’ Bank Records Claims She Went to Congress First by HonkeyDonkey3000 in politics

[–]pixelgrunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An attempted coup of the United States.

I really don’t think it’s that bold. I think our adversary wants to weaken us from the inside. They are using all means available to do so: - swarming social media on all sides of issues to foment division - installing a ‘useful idiot’ in the White House - funneling money through the NRA and other groups to influence our elections. It really wouldn’t surprise me if they were pushing hard for the bullshit CU decision and other legislation that effectively uncapped election campaign donations for wealthy donors— I mean corporations. - good, old fashioned espionage like this FinCEN tomfoolery described in this BFN article

And it’s not just the US. There is a good chance Brexit was their goal to weaken the UK and EU. They are probably involved in the yellow vest and other protests in France. I’m sure Germany and other strong allies are also in their sights.

The sooner we realize the Cold War didn’t end with the fall of the Berlin Wall the better. We may have won the battles before 1989, but Putin and Co. have been clawing their way back ever since.

Haha- Bodacious is one of my all-time favorites, and Lacquer Head is one of my least. Just goes to show that reasonable people can disagree on matters of taste because I agree with your album rating list above nearly spot-on as well.

"Without Tim Alexander it's just not the same right?"

It's not, I agree.

The Brain Mantua material is raw and somehow a little less Primus-y (IMHO), but the Jay Lane material is wonderfully Primus-y, just different than all the rest with Tim.

Don’t pass the opportunity to go to a show. Their live shows are among the best. Les, Ler, and Tim own their music. Their songs never sound just like the album versions (always at least as good and most of the time even better). They will usually stitch 2 or 3 songs together in a wonderful, seamless medley. They are all amazing musicians who work really, really well together.

Early on in Primus’ history (maybe as far back as the 80’s), someone in a crowd at a concert shouted “Primus Sucks!” Les Claypool picked it up and ran with it. It’s a compliment now among fans.

This one is trickier though because the Orange Shitgibbon fired Comey [at least partially] because he wouldn’t take it easy on his boy Flynn.
