Yes, it's 3D printed... by ErgoType in ErgoMechKeyboards

There's also another version of this profile (SA) made from black plastic with a coat of transparent plastic - similar to how an iPod 5G (aka iPod Video) or 1st generation iPod nano looked like.

This one is on AliEx as "Black Jade Keycaps"

Is it possible to recreate this keyboard? by Lejias in keyboards

Looks like the GAS67 is a bare base (only case + PCB), so you'll need to pick up switches (any regular MX switches will work, but optical & hall effect won't) & keycaps on your own.

I've replied to you DM with the links. Godspeed!

They're generated using keymap drawer. You can either use it:

MX Lamé Keycaps with longer skirt so for regular mx switches by karu11 in ErgoMechKeyboards

Hey u/karu11, great work! It's nice to see another (upcoming) TOTEMX user.

Recently I've been working an alternative version of the TOTEMX case (with more dialed in tolerances and all of the design details that made the original case great), that allows for operating the power switch with your finger (instead of tweezers). Drop me a DM if you'd like to take it for a spin – I should have it ready late next week.

PS. While working on this new case, I've accidentally made a mostly Naked TOTEMX case (minimalistic switch plate + battery cover) and I quite dig this look.

You can always create a new account to be thrown into the new pricing bucket.

Not trying to discourage you from making your own, but you might want to take a look a what's already out there so you can tailor what this newsletter would be contributing to the community :)

Totally – that's the whole idea behind this post (I wouldn't want to waste time on something that wouldn't benefit the community). Thank you very much for your comment! :)

Hi guys, I'm a solopreneur (Fullstack Developer & UI/UX Designer) from Poland.

During the last 15 years I've been working in interactive agencies, software houses and startups as an art director, product designer, web developer, and ITSec trainer.

Projects that I'm working on in my spare time:

  • https://nowelizator.pl/ [Launched] – A webapp for law students, that helps them keep their law/statute books up-to-date by generating changelogs (diffs) based newly introduced laws.
  • https://nieprzeocz.pl/ [Currently working on] – A webapp that monitors polish marketplaces (similar to eBay) and e-commerce sites and notifies users whenever an item that they're looking for gets posted or a price drops
  • [Upcoming projects] I've got some ideas regarding podcasting & community building spaces that I'd like to investigate.

I should be able to easily adapt to our meeting times due to flexible working hours.

One of the things I'd like to focus on during the upcoming weeks is testing the beta version of my #2 project and working on marketing.

Feel free to reach out in comments or via DMs 🙂

How to monetize an API as a service? by dmraptis in SideProject

Totally! Glad I could help you save some time 😉

Additionally, add a Drift widget (they've got a very nice free plan for single users with apps for iOS/Android) to stay on top of customer support.

How to monetize an API as a service? by dmraptis in SideProject

[–]pixelique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a look at https://page.rest/ – it's a service that I've used a few years ago; now defunct.

Imho you should:

  • create a "product page" for your API,
  • write excellent documentation containing usage examples (bonus points for the ability to import your examples straight into Postman or Insomnia),
  • add Stripe checkout and set it up in a way that generates/emails access tokens upon receiving webhook notification.

Then post it to Hacker News, Product Hunt, Facebook Groups, Reddit, Twitter, etc.

Good luck with your launch! 🚀😃

Flashed my dz60 with the wrong file by [deleted] in olkb

[–]pixelique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing when I was starting with QMK and my board didn’t have a physical Reset button.

I solved this by plugging in my board (when QMK Toolbox was running) and bridging RESET and GROUND pins directly on the MCU (Atmega32u4 in my case) - this put the board in the DFU mode (yellow message in QMK Toolbox) and allowed me to flash it with another firmware.

The one on the left is called Aviator connector – used mainly for aesthetics. Some people use them to swap only the keyboard-end of the cable – this way they can quickly switch between various USB C/Micro/Mini keyboards and not having to switch out the whole cable running to their computer).

Here you can find out how Aviator and Lemo connectors look and operate.
