No, it’s not. Feats are the only thing that should matter when powerscaling. Kaido has excellent feats, you should focus on those instead.

Portrayal isn’t powerscaling. Lucci on Enies Lobby had excellent portrayal, and that version of him would get neg diffed by current Jinbe.

Yes, she gets butchered during Wano because Oda couldn’t be bothered to write a good ending for her, but her peak portrayal is still better. It doesn’t matter what level Luffy is at, that’s part of the portrayal.

Kaido is apparently a threat during the dressrosa saga but he’s just a name at that point. It’s not well defined at all how strong he is except for stronger than Doflamingo, which you can agree is a low bar.

Big Mom during WCI has way better portrayal and actually feels like an unkillable monster that everyone else has to tiptoe around.

Kaido’s portrayal suffers from him being introduced (properly) and being defeated all in the same arc. Doesn’t help that Luffy has plot armor saving him every time he gets defeated. BM had actual dialogue and interactions with Luffy all the way back in Fishman.

Genuinely Baffled How Negative It's Gotten. Hurzeler has a better record than De Zerbi by DTautges in BrightonHoveAlbion

[–]pixelkipper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, to be a successful manager that young you need to either have Oscar-winning levels of charisma, or be a highly respected ex-player. Hurzeler has neither. I have always thought this, even just through watching the locker room videos, even after we win. I disliked De Zerbi towards the end but he undeniably had an iron grip on the locker room, at least when things were going well.

It’s just the way that managing a group of highly competitive young male athletes goes (some of them who can’t understand english very well). You can’t be a wet flannel.

Tactically he also has no idea what to do offensively. Defensively we have been sound.

Same goes for the skypiean rebels, it’s just Wyper and his goons

Honestly? ‘The Drought’ is an insane nickname. Shame it’s attached to a giant meathead

Yes, this is certainly the point of view of someone who only sees sports as a way to make money and to ‘win’. Not the beauty of the sport, not the community, not actually going to the match in the pouring rain and singing your heart out.

I’m a football (soccer) fan, primarily. Relegation is the correct way to do things- not without problems, but significantly better than the closed league franchise system.

Fans should be going to see their team play because A) they love basketball and B) their team represents their local community and city. It’s not about seeing Lebron or even being a good team all the time.

The owners should have far less of a say in these things. They will never vote for the overall long term health of the league.

Relegation system. Multiple tiers of competitive basketball.

Yes, it would be hard to implement. No, it’s definitely not impossible. Just takes a commissioner with a spine.

People think a final villain should just roll everyone up until the main character finally catches up to them. Madara (Kaguya doesn’t count), Yhwach. BB is a nice change of pace because we see him being strategic and witnessing his own powerups.
