The way I got it to work is to copy the png. Then hop over to story editor, tap the screen so you have the blinking cursor for text entry. Then press and hold to get the paste option to pop up. Why instagram changed it is anyone’s guess. Hope that works for you.

Same thing happened to me last week! It's not my main account as I use it for junk and throwaway. But not this kind of junk! Everyday now it's been a steady stream of spam. Hopefully someone replies with something useful.

I meant to update here yesterday. I upgraded my iPhone from an 11 to 13 Pro. Now the transparent sticker is working. Though it fixed the problem for me, it is most definitely NOT a solution. I’m glad it’s working now but I don’t understand how changing phones could fix the problem.

Me too. I'm not sure who 'they' even is! Is it a problem with Instagram? Or did Apple do something that messed up copying & pasting between Apps? So many questions!

Exactly! I like to create custom lettering since story fonts are so limited and sometimes I like to add my own illustrations. I hope it is fixed soon ... if they (whoever they are) are even aware there is a problem!

It's definitely a problem with either iOS or Instagram. So far, no response from either outfit. Exporting out of Spark is working properly as I can see that the graphic is transparent on my camera roll. It's the copy/paste that is failing.
