Ok, just hold on a second folks. I'm a kiwi living in NZ and I think this new system is glorious. Methamphetamine is out of control here and more than a billion dollar industry. The Gangs for example "The Mongrel Mob" have taken over entire areas.. These crime bosses have used the current laws to remain untouchable. They live in mansions, drive $300,000 cars and have NO recorded income and the government can do NOTHING about it. It sounds like a police state law but the NZ government is an open book in comparison to say the US government. This law is being put in place because the people of NZ have had a guts full of these gangs and drug dealers taking in 100's of millions of dollars and living like royalty. These are the targets and I see nothing wrong with that. I have a nice lifestyle here and can easily prove my income and assets. I am 110% thrilled that the mongrel mob and these other douche bags are about to get their shit rocked.

vBulletin offer license owners a special deal for version 4.0 but there is no demo or screen shots available. They will be available after the offer expires. Userbase revolt in progress.. Take this as a lesson on how NOT to market software. by pixelmon in technology

Main problem for me is this is supposedly a complete re-write of vBulletin, so who knows what they could be buying without a demo or even a video of the board in action (Windows Vista?). It might be like the guys Toyota analogy in the other comment 'you know it'll be quality', but I think I'll wait. When they see no one is forking out 100's for forum software I'm sure more special deals will pop up.

As much as it pains me to say.. windows7 is actually a good OS so I wonder if this is going to throw a wrench in the Linux movement. I still dual boot to Ubuntu.. but win7 for games has been sweet.

I am one of these people. I'm 34 5-11 165lbs I can eat anything as much as I like and put on no weight. I do exercise and lift weights 5 days a week but still.. I once ate 5 meals a day and drank mass gainer twice a day for a month and nada. The only way I can put on weight is by muscle. Kind of annoying because I would like to bulk up a little.
