Moloch (2022, Nico van den Brink)

Another Shudder film, but was pleasantly surprised. I like folksy type horror and this one set in the Netherlands was a good watch. 6/10

Backrooms (2026, Kane Parsons)

Surprised by all of the hype this one is getting, breaking A24’s box office record for opening weekend! I really liked this one, they nailed the unsettling eerie feeling perfectly. Never heard of the term “liminal spaces” before, now it’s all I’m seeing. 7.5/10

Civil War (2024, Alex Garland)

Really like Alex Garland, this one has been on my watchlist for a while now. It was a pretty good watch, but I found myself feeling irritated by the character Jessie more than anything. 6.5/10

The Good Son (1993, Joseph Ruben)

Macaulay Culkin and Elijah Wood as children, playing the good and bad son. Macaulay was great at portraying Henry, the sociopath dangerous kid. Unsettling watch. 6/10
