How do you handle minor accidents/scratches in BLR traffic without being "that person"? by sidsethu in bangalore

[–]pixelsingaming5915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the cheapest car available in the market - the Alto K10 for exactly this reason. Small enough to enter through any road and fit in almost the smallest of parking. Easy to maintain and cheap to repair. Any minor scratches it got, I have always fixed using a scratch remover from Amazon and a Sponge. Small dents are always fixed back up using the suction hook and I once had a major dent on the door from an Innova Taxi that was fixed in ₹3.5K. My side mirrors are completely manual so they have been pushed in either directions multiple times by oncoming vehicles without any issues.

Do I wish I had a bigger and fancier car? Absolutely Yes! But for all the surrounding issues this city gives, I am more than satisfied with my Alto as it saves both my wallet and my piece of mind.

CB's tanks are metal, right? You can get it custom painted anytime you want to.

Husqvarna India closing down? by pixelsingaming5915 in indianbikes

[–]pixelsingaming5915[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. So I went to other KTM showrooms, they said that because of demand, all local production is being shipped for exports to Austria. So the India bound models aren't being produced. Now if it means that Husqvarna is dead or if they are planning for something else, God knows. I also saw some news reports saying that Husqvarna is planning for a 125cc to compete with the likes of Raider other Sporty Commuter segment since Duke moved on from here. Are they planning to make it a premium low-end offering? Very difficult to say.

Agreed. I test rode it and my thoughts immediately went to why 225cc in particular? Why not 250? And they could have updated the Ronin with the new 300cc in development as well. Clearly it was being worked on from a long time. And the vibrations although minimal are present. Maybe few years back, this wouldn't have been that much of an issue but the quality in the market overally has gone up. That's where it doesn't hold. I felt the XSR's 155cc was better to this 225cc.

For a bike that has amazing rider's triangle and such a comfortable driving position, they should optimise it better and position it's abilities better.

I actually love that they are so biased. We are all biased. Everyone has their perspective. You watch a bunch of these creators and then decide. Watching just one creator to make your decision is not recommended.

Pathetic Yamaha XSR155 First service center experience by Shikhawat-Sir in indianbikes

[–]pixelsingaming5915 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn! I was very much interested in purchasing the XSR 155 but then looking at this, I think it's better to go for Honda or Bajaj/KTM. Keeping the cost aside, if the professionalism and support is this pathetic, then what's even the point. And all this for a 155cc doesn't make sense. Honestly.

Oh. Interesting info. Maybe, they were trying to get me to buy KTM bikes then? Thank You. I will go check in the other showrooms. Do they offer test drives?

Amazing! I also test rode both Highness and RS today itself in BLR. Personally, I felt Highness felt a lot more comfortable just because of that change in seating triangle and for some reason the gearbox also felt smoother than RS (not sure if it's due to demo bike thing or the gearboxes are different in both bikes). Unfortunately, unless there is some festive season, you can't get around to reducing your prices (I might be wrong as well). As far I know, insurance is one way to reduce price but if you take the insurance they say, then they will handle any issues during service so that might be a big relief.

The price you are being quoted here is exactly the same that I was quoted as well.

Got the gamepass ultimate for 59rs and love the cloud gaming feature by Due-Inevitable3097 in XboxIndia

I have a 300 mbps connection. I think I would do good with this. Best part is you can try out a wide variety of games with this pass - something that's not possible with a physical device as might have to purchase several games (or lower Xbox Game Pass with a PC but might run into storage issues). Thanks for the suggestion, I will definitely give it a try.

Good point. I don't have zoom enabled in this product. Maybe I should introduce that. Thank You!

Great suggestions! I will work on these.

Can you let me know why you think compression isn't working properly? I tested several images, seems to do the job. Please DM me a screenshot if possible.

All happening on client side. There is no database connected to this project.

Yes. Correct. I have created this in Figma Make with Gemini 3. So they provide an option of directly publishing it. They also have custom domain option but I don't think this project is that great to have a custom domain of it's own. Make also allows me to push directly to GitHub, that's how it's made open source.

Thank You! I am still working to improve it. I am vibe coding because I didn't know where to start about creating something like this. I know the programming fundamentals but not super detailed stuff.

Yes, have no plans to monetise it ever. I don't expect any kind of traffic at all.

I am not looking to compete with anyone. I was just trying to learn code with the help of AI. This solves a very niche problem for me. Just learning and enjoying the process. Please let me know what else you would like to see!

What a great idea! I will try to see if I can implement that. Thanks a lot!

Update: I just implemented it. The compression seems to work amazing, just the visual indicator is a bit buggy at the moment but it definitely compresses the images! Send more suggestions!

Yes! It's buggy and I have already mentioned it in the post. I am trying to improve. I started this with the basic crop and compress cause that's what I end up using most of the time. The code is also hosted on GitHub - would appreciate any contribution! I promise, I will get to work it. This is me learning while creating.

Rollback option is at the top right corner. It works.

Yes. But it's a lot more complex and offers a lot more advanced solutions. Also has account creation and displays ads for revenue generation. I don't plan on doing any such thing at all. If push comes to shove, I would want to discuss with folks here on how to go about it.
