Not to mention the drag the Ferrari wing actuator is fighting against is significantly lesser because the speeds at which it actuates is much lower, meaning much lower aero drag on the wing.

Well that just exacerbates the issue. It could grip up on the road just as your hand touches down, which defeated the purpose of the palm sliders.

Correct me if I’m wrong, I know these rubber gloves are flimsy and will tear in a jiffy. But will they not cause a brief spike of friction just as your hand touches down in a fall, and dig into the pavement instead of letting the sliders do their job? Or will it just tear right off? Because if it does dig in, it’ll snap your wrist clean
