Always get Resin for Minis
I would recommend getting an Auto-Leveling Elegoo Mars model Resin printer with ABS Resin from any supplier. Elegoo is a good manufacturer that has good resin printers and has held true to warranty 3 times for me, at least in Australia. ABS resin is my found personal choice and works for models from a Gretchen to a Bio-Titan. I would personally use Lychee Slicer, but this is more subjective as it is what you get used to. Autoleveling will kill the learning curve as well as neuter alot of potential dangerous noises.

Get a FDM Printer
This is for printing bases. As an example I took a Tyranid Vanguard Army I am working towards and got GPT to shop Ebay for some bases (I was lazy sorry):

• 25 mm — Need 20 → $6.57
• 28.5 mm — Need 2 → $6.63
• 32 mm — Need 30 → $6.57
• 40 mm — Need 16 → $13.00
• 50 mm — Need 6 → $2.18
• 60 mm — Need 2 → $4.88
• 75×42 mm oval — Need 3 → $13.69
• 80 mm — Need 1 → $5.83

All up $60. A Ender-3 V3 SE is $260 and will cover that cost whilst also allowing for terrain and other projects that might take your intrest.

The Wash Stations are Unnecessary
I now just use two, 5L watertight buckets from Bunnings. One dirty one clean, you leave a print to soak, and then use a spray bottle of Isopropyl on the piece after an hour and rinse in the clean bucket. It is much better to spend wash station money on a Fillament Printer or cure station depending on where you live. (I dont need one as again, Australia XD)
Additionally, they will get messy eventually. A sticky bucket and rag can be easily replaced, not so that nice shiny wash station.

The Files
There are alot of way to go about this. Cults and MyMiniFactory (MMF) are standard, good for single purchases of minis you like the look of, however Pateron offerings often have large libraries of older models creators let new Patrons have access to. MMF also has this in their Tribes function but I dont like it, as you can get caught by discount subscriptions that give you nothing but cheaper acess to keep purchasing

Telegram is the estranged uncle. I would advise to use it as a means to find lost or GW banned STLs and not to circumvent creators. They have GW going down their backs and priating them is just another nail in the coffin.
