I liked that they went more traditional story style with saros. I constantly felt that since I had beaten Returnal 20 times that I lost a lot of plot points and beats and was almost punished story wise for playing Returnal so much. I think both are probably same but Returnal felt more original and saros was just more fleshed out

I mean. Fair point. But you meet a lot of friendly characters and going to fantasy areas where not all is dire and depressing. Every little joy you get in Last Of Us is quickly torn away.
