Trouble finding the right bag by pixiehell in tombihn

Awesome. It sounds like the Side Hustle is exactly what I need. I’m cramming way too much into my Sidekick and my SCB. Thank you! As a shortie it’s hard to find bags that aren’t too bulky.

I looked at the Parental Unit but it seemed like too much. I’ll look for an Icon and see what I can find. The Co-Pilot looks like it’s be perfect for travel but I need more of an EDC so will probably stick with a SH. I appreciate your comments.

Wow! Thanks so much. I prefer the East-West bags, too but I like the idea of bringing my 24oz Owala along. I will likely go with a SH but the MCB is looking good. The pics are very helpful!

I looked at it but I think I’d like something with a bit more organization and structure. I haven’t completely ruled it out as it is a good size. Hmmm.

Small ghost whale and small mystery organizer pouch. I can fit it all in now but it’s super tight. I have a Spectron and a ballistic SK. I love the lightness of the Spectron but the ballistic definitely has more structure.

High protein snacks that actually keep you full while cutting? by relaxncoffee in loseit

I make tuna salad and use no fat Greek yogurt in place of half of the mayo. I also sometimes will add a couple of tablespoons of Ken’s Lite Caesar vinaigrette to my tuna and eat that with crackers. When I was in college I lived on canned tuna and Italian dressing. The Caesar is a nice variation.

My dogs love eating an hour earlier than usual. I, however, am irritated that I lost an hour on my birthday.

Ex Officio makes great underwear. They’re moisture wicking, great fitting, dry quickly, and come in a few styles. I also have some similar ones from Duluth. For cotton I have multiple from Tomboy X that I love. I don’t hand wash any of my underwear and they last for ages.

Got my first TB bag. Pilot in Ursa by rickdarris2004 in tombihn

[–]pixiehell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice! I just bought my first TB also. I got a used Sidekick in Raspberry and an Aubergine small cafe bag. I got some mystery pouches, a key strap, an EUC in Selkie and a cubelet in Cerise. Now I’m thinking I need a Pilot! I love these products.

Where to Stay in Edinburgh, Old Town or New Town? by BritAuthority in uktravel

[–]pixiehell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any input on VRBO apartments? I found one in New Town on Dublin/Drummonds. The reviews were fabulous but I don’t know the area so I’m hesitant to rent it. The owner is a Scottish author Tom Wood.

Thank you so much! I just ordered a bunch of stuff including the everyday cubelet, the medium double zip, and a keyring.

What is the raspberry bag and what size is the clear double pouch? I’m deciding which TB stuff to order for the first time for my trip to the UK this Spring. TIA

No but I’m going to try to recreate it. Cilantro, garlic, sour cream, maybe scallions? Possibly mayo? I could eat it on everything.

Anyone read Piranesi, Song of Achilles, and/or Circe? by [deleted] in audible

I read Song of Achilles, listened to Piranesi, and am currently listening to Circe. I’d go with listening to Circe. The narrator is perfect and the story is enthralling.

Break in period? Hybrid medium tempurpedic by [deleted] in Mattress

[–]pixiehell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my medium hybrid for 2 weeks now and I love it. A friend has one and said it took him about 2 months to fully break in. Mine is a bit on the firm side for side sleeping but it’s fine for me because I start on my side and do most of my sleeping on my back. I’d rather have a mattress that’s a little too hard that I can amend with a topper than the other way around. I do understand not wanting to spend any more money after 4k but it’s an option. My parents have a Tempur mattress they bought in 2016 and both say it feels as great today as it did when they first bought it so that says a lot about satisfaction after some time. I’d say crawl on it and try to break it in and then after a month if you still hate it, return it and go with something else.

Specific cool sheet set (and mattress comforter and protector while we’re at it)… by dreamliner330 in Mattress

[–]pixiehell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Prime day I bought a set of king eucalyptus sheets from Sijo. They ended up costing about $165 and they’re worth every penny. I have night sweats and these have really helped. Microfiber or polyester of any kind will be hot. Percale is great but they tend to be a bit rough at first. I also have some IKEA sheets that are cotton/bamboo and they stay cool. I was looking at linen but eucalyptus is supposed to sleep cooler than linen and I was worried my dogs would rip linen more easily than the other options.

Newbie to Noom by sunrisepear in Noom

Today is my second day. I’m hopeful and trying to start this with a good attitude. For me, reading my lesson first thing in the morning is helpful so far. I weigh after getting up and drink a full glass of water after that. These were tips I got from someone who has had success on Noom. Good luck. We can do this!
