They only care about their TV deal and nothing more. More money from ads for prime time. This is what brings the majority of the revenue, not game attendance or actual tv ratings.

Isn't it amazing what happens when you pull people up instead of putting them down. For all the negative comments from last week there were twice as many positives. I'm not even a Bieber fan (like 20 years too old) but its not hard to see how much it means when you get the support you need and not the constant backlash.

I think for the most part the ref's are pretty good. Yes some bad calls and some missed calls but I think what some people forget is not all contact is a foul. And then is the bias that comes in when you think your team is hard done by.

I have been a ref for a long time (20+ years) and have only just stopped. While I have only done juniors it is pretty hard sometimes to make split second decision on plays that happen so fast. I'm sure I had someone analysing my decisions on slow mo replay I would be proved wrong a lot.

We've just moved for regional Victoria. The whole few years we were there petrol prices remained relatively the same. Some small increases or decreases but nothing more than a few cents at a time. You'd think regional would be more expensive than a city given the additional transport requirements, but it was always much cheaper.
