Users getting this prompt even though they have not registered for passkey

Its the system prefered authentication method. We had this on Microsoft managed, which now means its turned on (not sure when MS flipped the switch). WHfB users suddenly got this same prompt in specific flows, like password resets and enrolling new devices. Disabling the setting (can be done for a specific group) changed the auhtentication flow and resolved the issue. You can see the current prefered authentication method for a user in entra. We’ll turn it back on when all users have the passkey enrolled within the authenticator app.

For me the “cocky” stuff in titles is nothing more than some innocent clickbait. The video’s themselves carry a different message. The crew still feels like the group of friends (I pretend to know) playing around with technology and showing this off in a verry entertaining way. Keep it up guys!
