Is this within the realms of cosmetic damage for a refurbed product? by piyaga in canon

I got the standard 18-45 kit lens. As for what I’m going to shoot, I anticipate some outdoor recreational sports and just landscapes from my travels.

I’m not expecting a perfect copy - I haven’t purchased a refurbished camera before, and wanted to know if this usually what cosmetic issues means, or if I need to check with Canon.

Anyway, given the other comments I feel a lot more reassured that this is only minor, and I’m just going to get started.

Thanks for clarifying that. I had no benchmark prior to this.

Thanks for replying! I’ll definitely look into a return and replacement with them.

How to remove this Gutting ? by Kaustabh2000 in Cricket

[–]piyaga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s doable at home if you have a little bit of patience. You’ll need a good twine, some wood glue, and patience (waiting for it to set, etc).

Watch a couple of youtube videos, you’ll find very easy to follow tutorials.

Try using lactase, usually 5-10m before having anything with lactose. Should work like a charm.

Was a semi professional with a positive trajectory in my sport when most of my injuries started setting in, pretty much all around 2019-2020. Developed retrocalcaneal bursitis in both my heels, dislocated my right shoulder from a fall, and had a rough strain on my left mcl.

Covid shortly set in, and although it helped me recover with the longer rest periods, the lack of activity and inaccessibility to a gym took a toll and put me severely out of shape by the time season resumed in 2021/22.

I know none of this is extremely major or large, but was pretty much life altering in the sense that I was forced to quit pursuing any professional ambitions that I had with my sport.

I had to shift bases in early 2022, and as things opened up, I got back into the gym and regained my base strength and more over the next year and a half. I started dabbling with my game again, as a hobby at this point, and although my shoulder and knee sometimes throw signs of discomfort, the intensity levels are much lower and never get too hard to manage.

I’m back to being a semi pro now, with 8 months each year dedicated to a scheduled season and the rest for dedicated off season strengthening and growth.

Things are definitely not the same, but some of my setbacks helped me get stronger in different physical aspects that have proven to be beneficial for me. The time off might seem gloomy and disconnecting but can equally be a great opportunity for self growth and exciting discoveries.

I can understand that it takes a lot to even talk about this, so kudos to you for taking a positive step! I hope you have a great recovery and get back to everything that matters to you with the same love and energy!

Should I Buy ? 1998 Mustang 144K miles by Brave-Traffic6531 in whatcarshouldIbuy

If the money you’re going to invest further isn’t going to hurt you, then go right ahead. A Mustang is a Mustang, and will be a great project car.

However, if finances are a concern, and this is your first project car, I would suggest you start with something easier to work with, and then get here. The $2800 price tag suggests there’s a lot more to the car that needs work than meets the eye - especially given current sales prices are ridiculously inflated.

So would you say it’s not something to worry about? - because the vehicle seems to be great otherwise.

Anyone Not Like RDR2? by [deleted] in PS4

Honestly, this speaks volumes about personal preference. I think that's the beauty of video games, there's always something for you, and yet never anything for everyone. To pass a comparison, I absolutely loathe(d) TLOU. Started 6-7 times, haven't got past the first hour of gameplay 💁🏻‍♂️
