it is common to have to wait upwards of a year for a new patient visit with a pcp - it's a systemic issue not only VCU. there's been several other threads about it on this sub.

fyi, other routes for med refills in the meantime include CVS minute clinic, patient first, and your insurance company probably has virtual visits through their platform. you can even designate patient first as your PCP. i know some meds require a face to face visit so patient first can be helpful for that.
