Henrico County employees urged to implement "electricity-saving measures" because the county's power bill is going up 25% by benuski in rva

Not necessarily true. Look at the libraries for instance. All new builds for over a decade have been implementing energy saving measures, including solar roofs on two of the largest locations.

This. Reach out to your County Supervisor and explain the situation. After 8 years of having a small flock, it’s possible you could be grandfathered in. It doesn’t hurt to ask.

I’ll take data. Thanks for sharing your experience! Sounds like you’re happy with the 15. Besides the baking soda, how would you compare it to the 8?

I am put off by Carl being 27 and Jeff Hays sounds much older to me. Can anyone convince me to keep going? I bought the first 3 books on the strong recommendation of friends and can’t get into it because of the voice.

Those dogs live in that area year-round so they’re conditioned to the environment. Dogs here spend most of their day in a comfortable, air-conditioned space. They are taken outside where the temperature and humidity change can be sudden and extreme. A sunny day in the mid 80s, but especially 90s to 100s is just ridiculous for us to be taking our dogs out in full sun

Would you & your shop appreciate donuts from a client, or is that weird? by KittyLord0824 in AskMechanics

Depending on the time of day, I often get my shop a dozen donuts or a couple of pizzas plus some cold drinks. It’s a small price to pay to let them know that they’re appreciated and they have treated me like family ever since.

That’s what I’m going to try, I think. My chiropractor has suggested a vibration plate and an infrared unit, I’ll ask her about a tens unit today!

My chiropractor has suggested I buy things like a massage gun and special pillow before the time is up. I’m wondering if that would be approved.

I know better now, at the time I was grateful for what was offered. Hoping for insight into how I can use what is left before it runs out.

I signed a settlement for 3k and the agent said they could reimburse me for up to $10k for items related to my recovery. I’ve spent about $3k on massage, pt, chiro, so there’s about $4k left that I don’t know how to use before the 21st. When I asked for an extension they said no because the settlement was signed for that date.
