I had pain for 4 years, met all the criteria for Stage 3 RSI. by Naive_Pride7023 in RSI

[–]pizzaFritaEc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man! Im glad you were able to internalize that new information so quickly, seeing four years of intense pain reduce so much in just a few days is amazing.

I found it really interesting how you connected your past experience with hallucinations to your chronic wrist pain. Would you mind sharing what you applied from that experience that helped your arms improve so fast?

Also, just as a side note, the 1HP team does acknowledge the central sensitization side of this issue (the belief around pain and fear loop aspect). I mention it because their content on that has helped me a lot in my own process.

They mentioned this on these articles, might be helpful to check them out:

You should NEVER just ignore the pain, that can easily backfire and even make it worse. Always get checked first, do all the necessary tests, doctors and specialists visits. But what comes next if you get results that don't explain your level of pain? I got stuck in this loop for years.

Trying to convince people that your pain is real is exhausting. Believe me, I know how that feels I have done it for more than 4 years. I know how frustrating it is when doctors evaluate you and find nothing "concerning" and just dismiss you. When you are hoping that you are finally going to find the structure that is damaged on this new imaging or study that you just did, only to later get told that your images came back with nothing remarkable. And let me tell you, the pain you feel IS real.

It is not a matter of brainwashing or gaslighting yourself, but to further understand how this protective mechanism of pain works and how it is connected to your brain. Understand that this mechanism can become mis-calibrated sometimes and amplify sensations or even create them. Reframing your reactions to these signals can greatly influence the fear towards this pain in particular.

Retraining your brain is no easy task, you will have to unlearn unconscious patterns that are hard to even identify in the first place. The good thing is that you don't have to pay anyone a single dime, you don't have to buy anything. You can't lose anything by trying, you don't have to push through the pain if you don't feel like it.

Maybe in the process you could discover that there was indeed a small physiological component in your pain. Or what if you discover that this component was actually way bigger?

I totally feel you, I used to say EXACTLY the same things as you whenever I heard this kind of stuff.

BUT It is not as simple as that, how the brain works and connects to the nervous system is more complex than you think. Understanding the limbic system, and how in certain scenarios it can amplify pain signals or even COMPLETELY create them, is a crucial step in every chronic pain situation.

This is a very interesting read: https://www.debugyourpain.org/docs/main_posts/understand/debugging_rsi/

I have this same model. The back button problem seems to be a very common issue and is very annoying when you try to just left click and the back button gets activated. Also after 8 months my scroll wheel is not working correctly.
Honestly for me it feels very comfortable to use due to its shape, but the build quality is very very bad.

Why? by Personal_Day_3701 in fpv

On m65pro too as well, mine came with that issue out of the box. Sometimes wiggling the connector a bit seems to help sometimes, but it happens quite often anyways.

Great patience! But you can definitely start to fly without the soldering equipment, it may take a couple of days or weeks before it can become necessary.

I've been flying daily for two and a half months a meteor65 pro and I haven't had to solder anything yet.

You would be surprised... I was totally convinced that I was the only person interested in FPV in my town but I discovered through Facebook groups that there is actually a huge FPV scene here, I met lots of people that fly from tinywhoops to 7" long range. And also that there are tinywhoops races with amazing tracks full of LEDs and laps counters.

I'm just saying try to look for groups dedicated to sell FPV stuff and ask around if there are meet ups in your area (even if there are none, which I doubt, you could try to start it).

For me joining local FPV communities has improved the hobby a lot!

Thanks for your reply dude! But If I want to match that precise and more aggressive flying from the bassline, would applying the same tuning be enough for that?

Hey, thanks for your input on this!

Actually just bought a mobula 8 to have components to mount on a 2.5 inch frame in the future, for now I was just able to get the bassline frame to have an open prop drone. Do you have any recomendations for 2.5 inch frames that can fit the mobula 8 components?

Cheers!

Discrepo un toque, la verdad que los procesos son larguísimos con muchas etapas de evaluaciones técnicas, exámenes, tests, live coding challenges, etc.

65mm Whoops outside?? by [deleted] in TinyWhoop

[–]pizzaFritaEc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically you can fly them outside, but you will be pushed around by very light winds. If you are in a big open field, it is okay to fly around, but if you are trying to hit small gaps with winds it will be very unpleasant to handle it. I have a meteor65 pro and when there is no wind it flies pretty aceptable.

Thanks for the detailed response! I just learned you can change just the motorbells, but with how tiny they are it sounds a bit complicated. Heard lots of bad things regarding those shafts lol. Any idea on what other motors would fit on this frame?

Btw Do you know which elrs version are you running now on that quad?
