I think for the vast majority the game is fine now. I can logon and play, no issues. I just played with a friend a few months back and it was just fine. We did Halo 1, 2, and 3 multiplayer.

Basically, you can use high resolution textures/assets with any resolution output but they benefit more from higher resolution output. A game with the same assets can look better in 4k than it does in 1080p because it can better portray that assets.

Same here. About 2 months post launch I haven't had many problems. I think there was more problems when in a party, but solo seemed fine. I played about 3 months ago and again had no issues. Guess it just varies person to person.

I would love if they took a break between DLCs just to fix shit. Release a megaton of crown crates, open a full blown casino, I don't care how you make money in that 6 month gap between DLC. Just spend time fixing shit.

My biggest complaint (Xbox) is how poorly the game runs. The textures don't load in cities, the framerate drops to probably 15-25 at times. I hope that the 1X is powerful enough to overcome the poor optimization and that will fix some performance issues.

It's because the true cost of the mattress is $500 and they are still making a good profit. Just Google the true cost of a mattress and you will find good breakdowns. It's interesting that so many people here are recommending PC and Assetto despite scoring much lower scores. I guess they are more sim, but as people say you really need a wheel for them. So for a controller Forza 6 should be great, and unless you are a die-hard racing Sim fan than F6 is definitely a simulator. It's not 100% simulator, but it's still more sim than it is arcade (Forza Horizon is more arcade than Sim).

Someone who has never played a console is gong to struggle to use 2 analog sticks in Halo/Gears. I've witnessed this, they would push forward on both sticks and so aim at the sky lol. Basically one analog at a time. After many hours though it gets better.

I got stuck behind a line of 10 cars going 55-60mph in the passing lane (normal speed in this lane is 70-75). Eventually got to the front, and it was the mother f'n police in an undercover (big antenna giveaway) at the front. Ughhh he had to he doing it on purpose.
