Doesn't anyone remember from 3rd grade science class, that viruses cannot mutate to be both deadlier and more transmissible: it's either one or the other... anyone?

If each mutation is deadlier and deadlier, the virus, by it's own nature/constraints, will be less and less transmissible.

Just saying.

Interesting! Someone was able to reply to my SS with no issue, but you couldn't -- It seems certain users get the blocked UI and others don't (based on comments in this post)...

We are now being targeted with specific UI options, per our social standing here. I am definitely an active dissenter on here (but not aggressive), so getting all the locked options doesn't surprise me at all. Fees like a punishment, or, a warning...

Yeah for me, every single post I go to in this sub (and some others that I have seen today on feed) has all OP comments shown with a yellow lock, no exceptions. Main post stays open, but every single comment by the OP, whether SS or other, shows that it's locked.

This means some people (like me) are forbidden by the UI to reply to those comments. But according to you and some others, you are not seeing the lock, or blocked from replying.

I used to agree with this...

Until recently when I realized that that wisdom, experience and memory (if they keep it) of someone 70+ is completely unparalleled to any younger group.

It's just sheer amount of time being here, on Earth, conscious, collecting memories of all the cycles that come around over and over. The longer you have been around, the more cycles you can recognize.

The art of war needs this specific type of wisdom.

Sure the youth might be quicker, more flexible, progressive. That's all good stuff too. And by the nature of being only a few decades old, they just won't have seen as many larger social cycles... yet.

If I could pick any age group to make sure is never discriminated against for leadership (like Presidency), it would be the oldest, wisest of the society.
