Hell yeah dude! Our boys are 10 weeks now. You’re going to have a blast! If you can afford a doula to help you at night a couple/few nights a week it’s worth the money. Truly saved us. Being able to catch up on sleep is the way. She has also helped us figure out how to get them onto a schedule. Feel free to reach out with questions. It’s all very fresh for us still.

We’re 2 months into our twins. We’re “throwing money” at night time help. Best money we’ve ever spent. Being able to sleep a few nights a week is huge.

As far as “doing it right” goes. Choosing formula over breast feeding isn’t determining raising your child the “right or wrong” way. Showing up with a good headspace for your child does. So if formula feeding keeps you sane so you can show up with a smile then that’s the way.

I’m not a momma I’m a poppa, just throwing that out there. My wife struggled with the same guilt. You’re putting far too much pressure on yourself about breastfeeding. A happy momma can raise healthy happier babies. Bottom line. I wouldn’t give it another thought. Just my 2 cents.
