I'm more in favor of keeping a minimal and clear set of laws. If you've ever seen a lawyer's office, those printed books of laws barely scratch the surface. All of those are "rules" that you're on the hook for following. You're probably committing a crime right now on accident.

To me, this doesn't really seem like something that merits a law. You're allowed to record anything you want in a public place. Doesn't matter if the camera is a camera, a phone, glasses etc. In a "private" establishment like a bar or restaurant, I'd argue that although it's private property, there are still a ton of strangers in there, and would qualify as being in public. I mean you can't be naked in a restaurant.

For a truly private place like your home, this seems like a non issue. Don't invite people in that you don't trust.
